VITALI to get title shot next year!

I agree, its seems to me if you have a name in the sport you automatically get a title shot after a match or 2. If Golota wins another match I bet he gets a title shot, which is not fair to other fighter who are more deserving.

 

I can't believe we actually found some common ground! :yep It was bound to happen sooner or later..................we are both boxing fans after all.

 

Part of the reason so many seemingly undeserving fighters are getting titleshots is partly cause of their money making names (Golota, Holy, etc), but I think its mostly cause you have four seperate organizations who all avoid each others' champions and mandatories..

And seeing as how they have four mandatories slots to keep filling, and that there are only so many top fighters to go around, you are obviously going to have many who get shots that aren't warranted.

For instance, if you have four horny guys at a party with only ten women, if they are to keep getting laid all night, the odds are that they are going to eventully end up banging the ugly women in the group....................LOL

 

Even though we have different opinions on things, doesnt mean we dont want some the same things. We both want to see a dominant champion, more competitive championship matches, and the popularity of the heavywieght division to grow.

 

I agree as well, Im not use to Wlad fans making so much sense, just joking. The heavywieght division probably needs the so called names to attract viewers, that part I understand, it just pisses me off to see the opertunities guys like Holyfield and Golota get.

I think things will change for the better in the next couple years, I have a feeling we will see unification in 09. I will be happy as long as its not Audley Harrison, then will really know the heavywieght division is doomed for a while.:yep
