who agrees that vitali took it easy on shannon.

vitali was hitting shannon with a left jab and right hands the whole time.

vitali didnt even use too much energy on shannon.

there were times where vitali could had simply open up on shannon.

i know shannons chin aint really that strong.

I beleive vitali didnt want to knock him out.

I beleive vitali kept shannon for 12 rounds of punishment on purpose.

he didnt he was throwing bombs trying to get him out, you could see the frustration when he heard the final bel.
Vitali's power decreased and briggs was determined on staying.

    You're trippin' man!
He wasn't "going easy" on Shannon at all, he just couldn't KO him. He was landing bombs on the poor dude all night and sometimes it was even frightning. Go to youtube and watch round 7, 9, 10 and 12 again...

edit: and this what my countryman said!

Even Chef said Vitali wanted answers as to why he couldn't KO Briggs, try like hell, as he did. His arm punching was what they deemed his problem was, and apparently, VK said he's *gonna really try* to improve his technique/increase his power from here on out.

Voidtali landed hundreds of flush bombs & was trying his absolute hardest to KO Briggs in round 10 & round 12, he just lacked the one-punch power of a Lennox Lewis or a Darroll Wilson to put Shannon down. :deal

    what BS

vitali wants to keep his great KO record which I think is down to about 88% now after 2 recent 12 rounders

it means **** all in the big picture but they like to use it as a selling point

Briggs ended up in the hospital with broken cheekbone and nose, how was that taking it easy? Vitali is a volume puncher, the last time I remember him taking someone out with a punch was Kirk Johnson. He is not a one punch power puncher, he just wears and grinds down his opponents. Look at the figth again, Vitali only had one thing on his mind, is to hurt poor Shannon.

He's not a strong one anymore either though. He never once wobbled Arreola, who's been hurt a few times by big punchers. He never hurt Peter, who was hurt pretty badly by his brother. And even back in the say he got knockouts more on workrate than on brute strength. Now that he has back problems, he just can't turn his hips into punches the way he used to and doesn't get as much leverage on them anymore.
