i imagine this going like the lewis fight

he hurts vitali early on but punches himself out by round 5 his lack of defense means he eats punches constantly

this shouldnt go more than 5 but i guess it goes like 8-10

 

Someone quick give Shannon a job as a ring-side commentator so he can stop trying to make a living in the ring.

 

Yes Shannon could be a better commentator than Roy Jones.

Im excited about the weigh-in. Briggs better have no shades on or he will get embarassed a la Queenpin Johnson.

 

i dont see it being a slugfest, briggs aint that good. plus vitali IS that good. briggs will try knocking vitali out, but vitali will pick him apart, pin him down, and lay a beating on his like he hasnt seen since lewis smacked him around a decade ago

 

Briggs will be trying to slug it out in the first 3 rounds.
On that point I give him a 20-30% chance. If he's still on his feet after that (and didn't shock the world) he will get a ferocious beating until he collapses.

 

Briggs by 1rd KO. If not Vitali will stop Briggs in the 2nd half of the fight.

 

I think this fight will have some fireworks mixed in with technical skills...... I see a good scrape while it lasts... I pick V.K. to close the show by round 7...... Briggs is game, but out-classed here.....

Let's hope this becomes a bloody and gutsy slugfest and make the rounds on YouTube. HW boxing definitely could use some good promotion that generates some interest.

 

I definitely agree here but Briggs was 268 going into the Liakhovich fight.
He looks better than ever in training camp now (okay Peter looked too but we all know what happened to him)

248 Briggs could be at least a little bit interesting.

First 2 round briggs will go for it.
Once he realise there no way he will eat jabs and right hand and at the 8th round his corner will end it. He will properly make a excuse like i broke my hand and could not carry on.
