Morally they shouldnt fight each other - But from an historical perspective it will harm their legacies.
How can they be given equal credit to a fighter who fought all the best of his generation - They don't [as yet] even have all the belts between them.
They are both diluting each others legacies .

    Thanks.

Every single point you make here is pure speculation. If you wanna speculate ... well, I can do that too: Wlad KO1 Bowe! See. As much worth as yours. And holds about as much weight. None.

If only Valuev bothered to train properly and DKP and K2 came to an agreement .. but it's too late now.

Both Klitschko's will end up in the hall of fame.

I never considered him fat and am not a hater of him at all , but it isn't much solid either .
I think Valuev got used to live in a (relatively for a fighter) poor shape .
I think the reason for it is that he wanted to not hurt anyone .
I want to believe that he could have mustered the will to train , fight hard and hurt (but inside of the sport's rules) a Klitschko if he ever fought one , but now he's too far from his prime.

Bit of a back handed compliment there. By definition the quality of the Hall of Fame gets more and more diluted every year.

In fact I am coming out with a very bold statement. In someones life time on this board, another boxer will get in the Hall of Fame, that is equal to Barry McGuigan! ;)

There are a few HOF fame fighters that get there based on being a good ambassador to the sport and on board casting talents. I would lump McGuigan in that group, as he does not belong on ring ability alone.

Not sure what you mean by the HOF getting diluted every year. Each decade has its own talents. For example would Pacquaio dilute the HOF if he gets added? How about Holyfield?

I mean the first picks, had the entire history to choose from, the second picks had the entire history minus the fighters picked; the 30th year of picks had the entire history of the sport, minus the fighters picked...

If one fighter was picked every one hundred years, then yes we would have a very dull Hall of Fame, but the quality would be there. By having five/six picks of modern fighters each year you dilute quality, as Ray Robinson's come along once a century, not every two months.
