First off i think there can be no doubt now about Vitali's ATG heavyweight ranking. The man just dominates, takes chances in the ring, fights anyone and all at the age of 39.

This fight should have been stopped either in round 10 or immediately after it. No Boxer should have to take sustained haymakers from one of the hardest punching heavyweights of all time. You can actually see the life being beaten out of briggs in round 10 like he is slowly dying. **** like this pisses me off.

I can't tell if you're being serious? ...He just beat Shannon Briggs? ...It's 2010.

Briggs is now shot. Vitali beat the prime out of him.

That's painful to watch. That should have been stopped no question. How on earth was Briggs still standing? Unbelievable.

    Hunger!

Briggs felt like if he could land that one shot to knock Vitali off balance he could pull it off like he did v Liakovich. But yeah, his chin and stamina have definately improved with his age. If he fought with that kind of patience early on in his career he might have had a more meaningful legacy.

Ustinov, Dimentrenko, Povetkin, Virchis, and Boystov would all TKO Vitali, this is why he avoids tough, Euro-level opposition and opts not only to fight American-level fighters, but American-level fighters such as Briggs, who weren't even that relevant in the 90s, let alone 2010.

Who is Vitali gonna fight next? Tua? Rahman? McCline? Grant?

It was hard to watch. I don't know why it wasn't stopped in round 9 or 10. Briggs was reeling around the ring.
