Instead of fighting Wlad, Haye faces Vitali.

While Vitali was never particularly fast, in 2011 he was even slower than before, albeit with the experience and intelligence he always had, along with his great chin.

Could Haye beat this version of his older brother?

I still think Vitali could manage a stoppage

I think it would have gone pretty similiar to the Haye V Wlad fight. Haye might nick a couple rounds but Vitali would win comfortably on points.

I think Haye was elusive enough to avoid getting stopped.

I like the Vitali endurance and combos here for the late stoppage.

He was the rare heavyweight capable of late round stoppages & I sure do not see the Hayemaker holding up well the second half of the bout. The conditioning and attrition factor are an awful lot for a guy like Haye to deal with. Let alone overcome. Just do not picture it & see like a 9th round tko with the ref waving it off.

If Wlad didn't stop him, I doubt Vitali could. But he definitely would beat him as easy as Wlad did.
