Technically frazier is a cruiser too.
Haye is a counterpuncher with a naturally hard punch.
He uses his opponents velocity and his own punching power together for his punches: he hits hard.
Vitali was 40/41 when he fought Chisora, his shoulder was injured too.
Come on dude, frazier has no chance against Vitali.
And if you compare prime frazier to a 40 year old Vitali it's really sad.

I could also say frazier is an overrated puncher as his KO ratio was 35% against 215lbs+ opponents.

I've already made a valid argument in this thread....and that was hardly touching on Vitaly's lack of stamina in fights that aren't going exactly his way.

Ali's jab being 10 times better?

Maybe if you upsize Ali to Vitali size and compare those two versions.
Vitali his style is made for smaller opponents/guys with smaller reach.

He would lean back and those shots would be hitting air.
And Vitali makes his lack of punching power up for his volume punching.

You're still not addressing the points I outlined and harping on size. Why is it the past greats always have to come to today? Why don't we put today's fighters in the past? If its just about size than the Byrd (who wasn't half as good as Joe) would suffice. Its about styles. Vits just doesn't match up well with Fraziers.

So it's prime Joe v old Vitali? Not sure if that's what you're saying but I'll assume it's somewhere inbetween.
I don't think you did make a valid argument, but I wouldn't have called you on it if you hadn't insisted on using my posts for your contradictions.
Add to that I've already said it's more a matter of sheer physical size playing a huge part, your reading of the fight is too simple and more than a little flawed as far as I'm concerned.
    But it's only my opinion,just as it's only your's.

Vitaly has 3 more inches reach than Ali and his jab isn't nearly as accurate or fast. Lean back? Lol, and Joe just destroys the body and saps his stamina and strength. Its not an easy fight by any means, but it is totally feasible that Frazier wins.

he would put up a better fight than the bums we've seen against Vitali

but no doubt Joe is still too small and would be knocked down several times

Agree on both points. It's no sleight on Joe to admit that a HW the size of Vitali would keep him at arm's length.
In fact I'll abstain on the several KD's though.Purely because I don't like to think of Joe that way.

I'm not using your posts for ANY contradictions. I will ask you to screws my points having to do with styles though. And no, I'm using Frazer at his best vs Vitaly at his best. I'd say the first Ali fight for Frazier and the Lewis fight for Vits. Also, physical size is not the end all in heavyweight boxing and this has been proven time and again. STYLES make fights, not size.

I can respect your opinion without agreeing with you but you're being vague about answering just exactly what you're disagreeing with me about and why. Break it down for me.

Vitali does not have the speed or skill set to keep Frazer at bay, Joe would have him cut, tiered and stumbling all over the ring. Frazer by TKO

V.K. would own Frazier's ass........ Yes, the Chisora who came to fight in March was well trained and bigger than Frazier, yet he still lost 9 of the 12 rds fought against V.K. who threw-out his shoulder again in the process... V.K. would tower over Frazier and keep Joe at bay with his arsenal and skill....

And caveman Foreman had the speed and skill to keep Frazier at bay? Clearly that's what you're saying considering that Frazier didn't land a SINGLE punch on Foreman in two fights. Not a punch!

So Foreman had the 'skill' (skilled as a caveman with fists for a club) and 'speed' (lumbering robot like Vitali) but Vitali doesn't. Yea that makes sense
