Frazier the atg hw who beat Ali and Ellis would Smoke Vitali and his weak armpunches. Left hooks all night, higher workrate. Frazier tko8. Who did Vitali beat to earn such respect? What has he done? Sanders,Peter and Sosnowski? Come on now! When comparing fighters from today and yesterday you have to balance things out. Today Frazier would be 235 pounds. But Frazier at 205 would still beat Dr.Armpuncher.
Vitali would never beat anyone good and that is truth. **** the rich spoiled bum beater Klitschko brothers. They blow. Frazier eats his ******* alive.
Vits is a good fighter and would have success in any era. But its true he has beaten no one particularly good and Frazier is just a bad match up for him in my opinion.
Frazier was also Frazier because of the weight. Frazier at anything more than 215 would be too slow and lethargic to be Joe at his best.
Smokin' Joe was a true champ and a legend RIP But I'm going to have to side with the Klitschko fanboy logic on this one and just say that Joe is too small to compete with Vitali. I pick Vitali by late TKO
My thoughts too mate. My friend was making points like 'Vitali doesn't hit hard enough' atsch Frazier's heart keeps him coming forward, and that leads to him walking on to too many, by a HW Champion who doesn't have one shot KO power, but every time he hits you, you don't shake it off. You carry it with you for the rest of the fight.
Agreed, Vitali would win H2H but Frazier will always rank higher, his win over Ali in the FOTC is one of the single greatest wins in the history of the sport
Trolling me because I haven't replied to your threads is not cool  (I wrote an entire page, for rounds 1-3 of Ward vs Dawson, and the damn database crashed. Untold fury)
Today's Vitali? No chance in hell. A Prime Vitali? Probably a great fight, but Frazier was tough as nails, and would back down like so many of Vitali's opponents. Also, Frazier knew how to get inside on a tall opponent, where his powerful body shots would land easily. the only downside is that Vitali is so tall that Frazier might not have as much power on his uppercuts, but the hooks to Vitali's body would likely be enough. You have to realize that, if both fighters are evenly-matched in most ways, the shorter fighter actually has most of the advantages, except for reach. - And reach doesn't matter if the shorter guy is a master of the inside game, as Frazier was. I'd be betting on Frasier, by early KO.
There will be no early ko for Joe, he needed time to warm up. But a late tko shouldn't be ruled out, his stamina in tough fights has yet to be addressed by any favoring him. Frazier at his best could go 15 rounds non stop in a gruelling fight. Vits was sucking wind by the 5th in his two toughest fights. If this fight were to have happened I would bet on a UD for Joe. But like I said, a late tko or Vittles quitting can't be ruled out.
Everybody seems to be forgetting about Joe Fraziers heart and determination...... He said in an interview he dosent know why pople are trying to box them instead of getting on the inside and slugging with them, Vitali has a good chin but modern heavies lack the determination and heart of the fighters of the past (The Lennox fight showed him wanting to continue but if you think about it who has had to face more adversity in the ring...Frazier ,just look at him after most of his fights), that's why i give it to Joe, he would stop at nothing to win. If you see the shots he took from Foreman just moving Joe's entire body from left to right and then getting back up wiping himself off and wanting to go again couls you even imagine Vitali doing that....
Aw, you do care! That sucks man, hopefully you can recapture some of that for me sometime soon. But I wasn't even trolling. I think Frazier takes a good amount of punishment early on on the outside, but eventually feints and disrupts Vitali's accuracy-based rhythm enough that his rhythm becomes more tentative, allowing Frazier to better anticipate his offense and find more and more success with his leaping left and body work while trudging forward. A fighter who looks to throw only when sure of landing gets his feet stuck in the mud when unsure where you'll be, and Frazier's energetic movements and aggression would eventually be enough to open up the holes Frazier needs to break him down.
imagine 33 year old Vitali with Chisora ,but I guess you're too dumb ,too british to understand we're not talking about 40 year old Vitali.
