London, Eng., yep, this is how Vitali would knock Haye out. However, there is a chance Vlad might knock Haye out instead, does not matter, either will knock Haye out. Hide is fast, hits very hard, same style as Haye, but better skills, faster, Vitali sure put his lights out and Vitali was a five to one underdog! Haye is running from Hide, has been for a while.
Stop making all these stupid posts & threads to defend the Robot twins & to attack Haye Huggers. No one cares about Robots that much. Do you ever talk about humans?
Don't know about 5-1 but Vitali was definately the underdog & it was considered an upset. However with Hide going up against a huge guy who could punch again, no one was suprised in the least.
I would have never thought Hide was favourite, after Vitali put such a good fight against lewis, oh well learn something new every day
I remember that fight like it was yesterday, have it on tape. Vitali Vs. Hide is what Vitali Vs. Haye would look like. Hide's legs went stiff, I thought he was going to die in the right, looked bad for him. Hide is better than Haye. Vitali is not slow,he is quick, so is Vlad. Yes, Vitali was a huge underdog, he fooled them all.
Could be Vlad fighting Haye now, Vitali has to fight the mandatory, don't know if it will get in the way, but I think it will probably.
Vitali was definitely the underdog. However, a lot of that was due to the fact that no-one in the UK knew a damn thing about him! Hide's previous two opponents had good-on-paper records as well and people thought Vitali was another set-up with a good record. Some big lug. They didn't know about his performances in the ring or whatever...a lot of it was that Herbie was seen as someone being managed extremely careful by Frank Warren against soft touches. It wasn't a verdict on Vitali, more on Warren and Herbie's tendancies towards challengers at that time.
Vitali was the slight underdog, Herbie had been smashing sparring partner to bits in public workouts for weeks in a local shopping centre , everyone kinda got hyped up on Herbie being a hot commodity at that time.. Vitali wasn't that much major news back then, we knew he was decent, but not that razor sharp.. That was the first fight he really showed me his potential.....
Exactly, the same thing will likely happen to Haye. Regardless, Haye must fight a Top 10 contender. What is wrong these days with boxing? I mean, Haye does not even have great credentials like Holyfield, Spinks or Toney outside of the Heavyweight division, yet he is being hyped in an unbelievable manner here.
