If holy can give bowe all he can handle he should be able to nick enough rounds against the slower, less skilled vitali.

8-4? Holy was out jabbed by Moorer in the first match and cut. I don't think he would do much better vs Vitali, who hits harder, and has even more range.

Moorer happened to have one of the finest jabs in the heavyweight division. The frequency of his piston like jab would cause problems for any heavyweight for as long as he lasted against them. A fair point on Vitali hitting harder than Moorer, but I don't see that of much relevance in deciding the winner here. Both have iron chins and if the Bowe of the first fight, Lewis or Tyson couldn't stop Evander I fail to see how Vitali would.

I fail to see how Vitali would be harder to catch than Lewis and you also didn't mention that both Lewis and Bowe both have a better inside and outside game that Vitali.

My take would be that Holyfield is too good for Vitali. cuts off the ring well enough for the 12 rounds to at least take 7 rounds. I don't think Vitali has the leg speed to get away from Holyfield and won't keep him at bay with his jab.
Holyfield has the more proven work rate as well and you better count on him firing countless combinations as soon as he gets in range and the head of Evander may also cause a few issues fir Vitali. I think Holyfield being the faster puncher and mover may be the main factor in this one though.

My thinking is looking back at there careers Vitali is no where near as proven as Holyfield. Evander has proved he can beat an ATG fighter (a H2H beast in Bowe might I add) has Vitali? Evander has proven he can go the full 12 rounds taking as much punishment as he gives out with an incredibly high work rate. Has Vitali? I know most of these fantasy match ups involve a lot of guess work but I'll always have trouble picking someone that is completely unproven against quality opposition over someone that is the exact opposite.

I doubt very seriously if you have ever picked anyone to win a round from the great Vitali let alone a fight, so pardon me if I dismiss your critique!
