Tucker getting outboxed by the shorter man at range until he punched himself out isn't really something I would drum up. Hell, Tucker got out jabbed by little Mike Tyson and struggled with Norris. He was tough and durable but not the most skilled super heavy. Even if him jumping around in a traditional guard and throwing snapping punches looks impressive, he wasn't very effective.

Vitali is 6'7" or 6'8", much taller than Douglas or Tucker, and regardless of what his wingspan was listed at, he had considerable more range on his punches than tall long armed fighters in Lewis and Sanders.

Vitali in addition to his immense size, is very unorthodox, he volume punches in awkward combinations, uses upper body movement, and is just flat out very difficult to box in a traditional sense. I feel both Douglas and Tucker would struggle to box him at range.

Lewis wasn't a great technical fighter either but he knew how to use his weight and punching power to bully rangier fighters and force them into dog fights outside their comfort zone. It's very obvious he's not trying to box Vitali from the outside at all, and is stepping forward with his jab and pressuring, looking to let his hands go at close range or grab, push, and hit. Douglas would have his hands full with Lewis pressuring him, it would have been over quicker than the Tucker fight.

I don't get why people don't understand the cuts were caused by a combination of things and made worse . A right hand does appear to start the cut but their heads collide immediately after. Lewis also rakes his glove against Vitali's face in the clinches several times, worsening cuts that were already opened.

People keep arguing as if the punches just opened up as they were by one specific thing. It's nonsense.

Just this fantastic Vitali hasn't a remarkable win his. a unprepared featherfist and an old fighter knocked
    him out.
And Vitali never beat for (WBA,WBC,IBF) title taller than 6'4" fighters.Tucker is 6'5".
Vitali had only one important fight against a taller than 6'4" fighter (Lewis) and he LOST.

I have no idea how my rather inoffensive post struck a nerve with you, I guess you are another example of this site's fine examples of the modern man:

Heres to the education system, em I right?

That's got to be the weirdest random stat ever. Never beating a fighter of a specific height for a specific title.

What exactly is your analysis here, that Vitali can only beat tall fighters in fights not for the WBA, WBC, or IBF titles; what stranger power are you suggesting those particular belts hold over him?

    So?

quite right it wasnt punches, it was vitalis porous, negligent defence.

Vitali is 6'7" with a 79"reach.He threw lots of arm punches without committing his full weight to them, this gave him distance and the "albatross" illusion. Vitali controlled the range and was usually leaning back opponents had to be inside his "killzone" before they could even think about hitting him.

The cut was caused by a punch. I find it amusing that Lennox is castigated for not rematching Vitali,as though a Klitschko win would be a foregone conclusion.Who is to say the scartissue from those 68 stitches would not re-open from another Lewis thumping right hand?Who is to say that after that close call Lewis would not be in better shape and better focused for a return ? His two rematches indicate that would be the case.

Referring to Douglas as the smaller man is really splitting hairs. Buster is 6'4" with an 83" reach. There is nothing small about his natural frame. I have met him in person many times. He looks like a defensive tackle from the NFL. My point is that both Tucker and Douglas showed tremendous speed, quickness, and skill at that size. Far greater than either Lennox or Vitali demonstrated that night.
