Sparring can't be compared to performing at the professional level against a another professional with a plan, so I don't really count that as being active.
Trust me I know a lot about that and if Peter can't take those punches early then he's toast and early. What if he proves he can take it though?, will Vitali be able to keep up the activity and power punches for 12 full round after a 4 year lay-off with serious injuries?, that's what keeps me curious here, I know all about Peter's defense abilities as I know about Vitali's underrated defensive abilities as well.
that's a legit question. no one reallly knows although the peter nutriders assume their opinions are facts. although, i don't think it's impossible for vitali to wear peter down to a late stoppage, infact, my prediction is round 10 for vit. peter is very tough but the power and weight will break him down. vitali's ring intelligence is very high, peter's is not. that's the big factor in my estimation. vitali has studied peter, peter doesn't know what the word "tape analysis" means
Vitali is going to stop him imo. Peter hasnt done anything since Wlad beat him and i think we have actually seen the best of him. Vitali in 11 due to busting fat Peter up.
With Vitali's abilities he doesn't have much studies to do here based on ability and I know about that considering Peter's obvious style. But the main question remains and only the fight will answer it, can Vitali keep the activity up and apply his tactics without running out of gas or being too rusty after serious injuries and a 4 year lay-off?, it's difficult to answer that and a YES answer is also difficult IF and ONLY IF Peter proves in the ring that he can take Vitali's punches and can stay active with his. That's why I'm picking Peter here, based on ability and skill Vitali definitely wins but this fight has shotloads of questions all to be answered once the bell rings.
Well, compared to Wladimir, Vitali likes to test the waters early. Against Danny Williams he came out and hit him as hard as he could in the first round and almost got rid of him. After that, he backed off and started picking him off until the end eventually came. If he does that with Peter, I see Sam getting rattled, then slowly destroyed over seven or nine rounds. It all depends how well Sam takes the initial storm. I expect Sam to come out swinging early to try and take advantage of ring rust, but against Vitali who is a master long range counter puncher, that could prove to be a deadly mistake. Vitali is not Wladimir. Vitali has a mean, mean, mean spirit to him. Remember, this is the guy that poured a beer on a member of Ray Mercer's team because he was taking trash about Wlad. Vitali doesn't take any crap from anyone.
big questions for both. peter has training and ego issues as well. let's just hope it comes off. it will either create a potential mega-fight or Klitschko domination but im about 95% sure wlad is gonna take povetkin's chin home in a box on Dec 13. we'll have to do an avy bet :yep
I don't think Scam Cheater has a chance in this fight at all. Peter sucks at boxing and look what shitty Jameel McCline did to him.
I think Peter wins it, only because I think Vitali is toast. After this long of a layoff and this many injuries, he'll probably only be a shell of his former self. Prediction: Peter RTD7 after Vitali tears an ACL.
That sounds hilarious. Do you have a link to an account of this story? Vitali just even earned more respect from me.
So a guy hurts his shoulder once years ago and he's gonna do it again in this fight. Would you bet your house or car on it? I'll bet you 500 bucks he doesn't tear his ACL in the fight.
I don't remember the incident you speak of. Was it documented somewhere or is it just a rumor? Vitali is very mean spirited but I didn't think he would initiate a physical altercation over a few words exchanged. Did it end in a brawl?
