It's not a true prediction when excuses are installed into the statement...it's basically just a crock of sh*t. ...in essence here is a paraphrase of the "prediction" being offered by most KLIT-ites... ...VITKLIT wins in almost any shape ( I've heard 80%, 75%, 60%, etc.)...but if he happens to lose, he just wasn't in good enough shape... My prediction of VITLIT not showing up, is not contingent on how one thing or the other goes...it's based on how things already have gone, the last FIVE times.
IMO Peter has been less effective now that most refs are watching for his rabbit punches. The punches Peter would throw when in a clinch that cannot go anywhere BUT the back of the head are not being allowed anymore... FINALLY
It has been shown time and time again, that Peter's opponents turn the back of their head's, toward an in motion punch...even the great James Toney was guilty of this. I like how you take no exception with the holding that you casually mention, but don't like an illegal answer to what is clearly the intial rule-breaking. Holding is not even part of Peter's strategy, his opponents should avoid such illegal tactics if they feel it leads to a foul. Rather they embrace the situation, using a deplorable "Ruiz-Like" tactic...attempting to draw a foul.
Even with IF, it's still a prediction with one or more caveats. It still has merit. Obviously, an unconditional prediction is the boldest, and has the most 'value.' The more conditional the prediction, the tamer it is and the less its value. The weakest and lowest value (zero) would be something like: I predict Vitali will win if he makes it to the fight and doesn't lose or draw, and if there isn't a NC. So Suge, who are you predicting if we get to the first bell ?
Come on SUGE!. 1st off, I wasnt talking about the Wlad fight. Any fight will do. And I know its hard for you to admit it....but Peter himself has clinched. just fkin with you. Im talking about the punches that Peter throws when in a clinch. NOT the punches that a guy turns his head. You know what Im talking about. They are bull**** club punches to the back of the head and you know it
so...you say Wlad holds..against the rules, but Peter punching to the back of the head during clinches is ok? like our parents told us growing up.....2 wrongs dont make a right
If WLAD wasn't allowed to hold, Peter would not be landing punches to the back of his head in a "clinch." ...no I don't think it's OK...but I believe it's usually his opponents fault. It's almost always the result of some BS holding though. ...I was looking for your comments in the "ring belt" thread.:blood

In all other cases, the "if" is applied to the likely prerequisite for the prediction. For example: "If Wlad fights the way he has done lately under Steward's guidance, then he will beat Thompson by late KO or easy UD" In Vitali's case, it is applied to the UNlikely prerequisite. For example: "If Vitali makes it through training camp and is unaffected by 3 years of injury and activity, then he will win"
In the article Scar posted, VK says It will probably end between rounds four to six. That's close to what I was estimating, as well. Oh, yeah!
