Stiverne's deceptive speed and accurate combi punching may give him a decent shot at winning on the cards and even a stoppage is not completely out of the question as Stiverne beat the living the crap out of Arreola and hurt him multiple times. However, he takes a while to rev up his engines, so I see a big opportunity for Vit to take him out early.

Haye would need Stiverne to lose or get badly exposed before he dare get in the ring with him.

 

Long layoff for a fighter in his early 40's. One cannot help wonder if this will be the "one fight too many"? Even if Vitaly wins comfortably again all things point to him continueing and that worries me. Timing is everything in this sport and speaking as a long time fan of his I would not like to see him go out with a loss/taking a beating.

I definitely think Stiverne can hurt Vitali, but I see him having a really tough time
getting inside on Vitali, I dont think he's that far gone......yet. It would be great for him to win though, to setup a fight with Wladimir.

 

Stiverne is going to be at a big height and reach disadvantage and Vitali knows how to use his height.

 

Yeah, I havent seen anything in Stiverne's previous fights that says
he'll be able to solve the height equation. Maybe a combination of
him going to the body and Vitali finally getting old. Like I said it would be
nice for him to win but I would not bet on
Stiverne.

I agree with you most the time but Charr is 100% tomato can. Yeah the fight was stop early but I don't thin Charr would win. Don't be blinded by all the WLad nuthuggers. Vitali is the better fighter of the two. He when toe to toe with Lewis for 6 rounds something Wlad could never do with that chin. If it was not for that weak skin Vitali may have been able to win that fight. He was losing so much blood he was slowing down fast. If he would not have got cut who knows what would have happen. Had the Klitschkos fought in the ALi era they would have been called the bleeders. I'm shocked Vitali was not cut when Chisora slapped him. Even when Chisora spit on Wlad it was a hard test for his weak skin. That would have been funny as hell if Chisora would have cut Wlad with that spit.
