    My reasoning:

Valuev since he appeared on the World HW scene in 2005, he has been considered a palooka and a fraud.

Any initial beliefs that he could be a world class fighter were quickly dispelled.

Despite this, Valuev has enough ability to have the WBA title twice and has been ranked in the Top 10 at HW for the last 5 years. His name has constantly come up in conversation, and he has done very well for himself.

In addition, Valuev has yet to be soundly beaten. While he has been in a number of controversial fights and has been accused of receiving gift decisions, no fighter has given him a definitive beating. Chagaev managed to outpoint him in close but clear fight. Haye won in a horrific fight that made Valuev-Holyfield look action pointing (Although both fights were overshadowed by the abomination that was Klitschko-Johnson)

While Valuev has an obvious height and weight advantage over his opponents, Vitali is 6'7, 250, and posses far superior strength and athleticism. Additionally, Vitali aggressive, high output, awkaward style is excellent for fighting Valuev. Vitali is many levels above Valuev in EVERY category. The only "advantage" Valuev could be said to have is his being taller and heavier. Thats it

Valuev needs to be BEATEN. Not outpointed, but beaten in a lopsided fight that isnt close, that isnt boring, and that leaves no doubt that he has no place challenging for a title ever again.

King did an excellent job getting him into the title picture, but the WBA title has been reduced to a joke, and Valuev has become this weird anomaly that gets interjected into every potential HW title fight.

    It needs to end.

He needs to be ****ed up. THat way NO ONE will ever want to see him fight again.

    Losing on points isnt enough.

No one in the HW division can or will KO Valuev. The man's skull is over a inch thick, no woner Haye broke his hand.

    He can certainly be outboxed.

and this is why it won't happen!! King can't allow the final curtain to drop on this circus just yet. The WBA title isn't a joke in King's circle, it's clout and a guaranteed payday.

I think it may happen, if King realizes how much of a gift title shot Valuev is being offered, after having just lost his last fight.

Valuev sucks...sure he did a good job with Lyahkoivch and Barrett, those guys weren't exactly elites, even if Sergei held a title briefly. Valuev is the circus sideshow. Problem is, no one is buying it outside of Russia. Klitschko will KFTO inside eight and make that man disappear from the contender discussion once an for all.

I just heard he wants 60/40? Really? Coming off a loss to someone the Klits most likely would dominate and he wants 60/40? He needs to go back to the planet he came from.

klit should have some decency. No fight should go further than 60-40 and he should respect that. They all take a risk with their life stepping into the ring, especially at HW. Pay the man a fair cheque, beat him and let him retire with enough cash to keep him until he is done.

I would absolutely love for either Klitschko to face Valuev, but particularly Vitali. Vitali will go in there to DESTROY Valuev.

Why does it NEED to happen? Your reasoning seems to be he hasn't been clearly beaten, when infact he has. Just because it says 'SD' or 'MD' next to the result, we all know what we saw. Chagaev whooped him and Haye was hardly hit in the fight, awful as it was.

Povetkin against a Klitschko is a fight that actually needs to happen. Stellar amateur, unbeaten as a pro, he should be somewhere in line.

Would this be the tallest fighter Valuev has ever faced? I think this fight is about Vitali getting rid of this giant russian.

Dr. Iron Fist will knock out Valuev within 6 rounds.

Ustinov yeah & i'd say Helenius too, Dimitrenko would get the **** beat out of him though.

There is definitely an appeal to the fight for me just due to the sheer spectacle.

    P.S. **** don king
