I would like to see Vitali get Valuev and Haye in the ring, but he could have an alternative strategy of fighting the youngsters- Solis, Boytsov, Povetkin, etc- in the hopes that after he and little brother retire, one or more of them really take off and enhance his reputation retroactively.

The only thid way is to fight he retreads: Tua, Chagaev, Sultan, etc.

Not really, John Ruiz got hit a lot more himself because his gameplan was to lie on the giants chest and fight away on the inside. Haye didn't do a lot, but a lot of the rounds were easily scored because although he did very little Valuev did even less and certainly landed next to nothing of substance. They were different fights entirely, but I agree Ruiz could have got the nod too. Add him to Holyfield and Donald.

Point is, Valuev has been beat once VERY clearly by Chagaev and has had numerous fights where his limitations have been shown up. Him against Klitschko would be amusing but its not needed at all.

Valuev was beaten by many fighters, but they don´t get the decision. This fight is not a worthy one. He refuses to fight Chagaev! For me Chagaev was the real WBA Champ.

So i cannot understand why Vitali will fight Valuev. He is not a worthy contender. Valuev lost to Holyfield too, an 46 year old man!

2 Million § are enough, more than enough.

it means Valuev knows that he will lose to the better man and knows it.
but............ for some reason I believe that the giant could be wakened.
    To live again.

Because Vitali is fighting for his legacy now. He needs names on the record.

Thats not clearly beaten. He hasnt loss badly enough to make fans say "why are we watching this guy?"

He's parlayed his middling skills+freakish size=success, but its made the WBA HW division a ****ing joke. Throw in John Ruiz and that belt is worthless.

He shouldnt be a factor in the HW division anymore. His fights are terrible to watch, and him continuing to be ranked and be given title shots just adds to the perceived image of HW irrelevancy that many people have.

A thorough and comprehensive beatdown would turn off people from watching him. Vitali is the only one with the size and skillset to do it

You have to figure the bout will get made though. The Valuev management is walking a tightrope with their guy. Valuev is vulnerable and on the other side of the mountain now. He can drop a decision if he fights someone else & what happens to his stock price then? His value right now is lower now against Vitali than a few years back & it just won't get any better. They are trying to get their guy a final payday and are negotiating tough because a loss to Vitali could lead directly to retirement from the sport. Time to cash him out. His paydays become miniscule if he loses the Klitschko fight.

And just what other big payday is out there for Valuev right now anyway? His stock price is way down & it takes time & some wins to rebuild that stock price.

Yes, Ruiz did a far better job in losing to Valuev versus Haye making him miss, hitting him flush and making him do a silly dnace en route to a win.

You can throw all of the shoulda woulda coulda's out there and it won't change an awful lot.

Is that what I said or what you are implying? Funny as well that you would give **** to Haye but laud at what a slugfest Klitschko Ibragimov was. :patsch

I do not give **** to this win. It was a smart fight but not a great one and Haye got the decision, other boxer got not against Valuev, Evander Holyfield and Larry Donald.

Chagaev fought a much better fight againt Valuev.

You are one of those who ciritze Wlad for his fight against Ibragimov, but in this fight Wlad throws more than one good punch!

    For example:

You have reminded me why I label you as a horrible poster. If Haye had only landed "one good punch" he wouldn't have won the fight. :deal

I'm not claiming that the fight was great, nor was Klitschko - Ibragimov and you can post as many gifs as you want.

If we are to believe Haye broke his hand in the second then lets not triple :rofl when almost all of his other fights have been great to watch.

Would you rather WALDO fight in a war and lose or fight like he does and win? Never mind jisi, I already know the answer. Go back and read the post I was responding to.
