Vitali wants Chisora....Again!

Vitali Klitschko Aching To Knock Dereck Chisora Out - Is A Rematch A Possibility?

By James Slater: They don’t call Vitali Klitschko “Dr. Iron Fist” for nothing (see his 40 KO wins), and the reigning WBC heavyweight king is somewhat disappointed that his nickname wasn’t quite lived up to against challenger Dereck Chisora this past Saturday night.

The 40-year-old, fighting a large portion of the fight he won on points with just his right hand (due to injuring his left shoulder in the 3rd or 4th-round in Munich) has had time to think about the fight, and he says he is all but desperate to give the disrespectful Brit “some real punishment.”

“My ego, something deep inside , tells me quite clearly that I still need to give this man real punishment,” Vitali said. “I want to knock him out in the ring. This account is still open.”

A rematch would certainly prove to be a much bigger fight than the first meeting between the two, seeing how “Del Boy” gave an unexpectedly good account of himself and, more importantly, due to the famous, or infamous, celebrity status Chisora now holds. If the Klitschko brothers and a large portion of the German people had a genuine dislike for David Haye due to the former cruiserweight’s disrespectful antics in the run-up to his disappointing fight with Wladimir last July, just think how much the German fight fans would love to see their hero Vitali flatten Chisora!

Slapping Vitali, spitting water at Wladimir and then brawling with Haye at the post-fight press conference: these are three things Chisora needs to be punished for in the eyes of millions - and what better way for him to be punished than by “Dr. Iron Fist” in a return fight? This is clearly the way the WBC champ is thinking anyway. Once he’s healthy and his shoulder is fine, look for proud ruler Vitali to push for a second fight with Chisora - if, of course, Chisora has not been banned for life.

There may be a couple of other obstacles that would prevent a Klitschko-Chisora II, however. First of all, Bernd Boente has said he is not interested in a rematch, and second of all, a ban on ever fighting again in Germany has been levelled at both Chisora and Haye. Things could change, and Vitali is the boss and therefore what he wants he should be able to get - but it’s no way certain Chisora will get a second crack at the elder Klitschko.

But again, IF the fight did happen, it would be a massive event wherever it were staged.

For quite a while now Vitali has had a powerful urge to knock out David Haye. You can now add Dereck Chisora’s name to the list!

Personally, I doubt they'd fight Chisora again, seeing as how Vitali still dominated him with one arm.

But given the lack of other decent names, you never know. Chisora has made quite a name for himself and he may now be Vitali's next best option, next to Haye.

 

Other than his unprofessionalism, Chisora is just another Klitschko victim. Lost a lopsided decision and should have spent more time training. He is 27, he should be in his prime, instead he looks like an amateur.
