Vitali wants the Belt - Peter freaks

I like how Vitali grabs Sam's right sleeve to help turn him around to face him.
I'm telling you, I've got in a few fights in my time and when the guy has that look on his face he's confident.

 

Peter has looked really tense every time I have seen him next to Vitali. I think he is pretty worried.

After Peter grabbed the belt, Vitali grabbed his arm, Peter turned around real quick like he was going to do something. But then Peter just looked at the ground and walked away. Peter couldn't even look at Vitali, he stared at his own feet. He sure don't look confident.

 

...and you left out the next part...ViTKLiT let him go, then Peter left.

ViTKLiT knew if he didn't let go, he would have been in over his head...

...and Peter added insult to (multiple:yep ) injury by turning his back...the same way Kimbo disrespected Shamrock, and left with his belt.

 

You can look at this pathetic minor incident in one of two ways. It's no surprise you chose the version you chose.

In the ring is where it counts.

 

Peter turned around, he looked like he was about jump out of his skin. Look at Sam pace in one spot after he turns around. You can tell he is really nervous.

 

I'd counter that point with "look at VITLAYS face, damn he looks old, and skinny" :yep

Stop making something out of nothing and wait for the fight :good

 

That's bottled up anger, not knowing how to manifest itself...since it's not the 11th yet.

He shouldn't have done that to Sammy...I think ViTKLiT got under his skin with that, and he will be punished.

I think Sam Peter is going to be destroyed. I have never seen anything out of Peter that would make think he could beat Vitali. Peter is hyped as a devasting puncher but he has never KO'd any fighter with a good chin. Peter didn't hurt Mccline once after landing everything. He couldn't knock down Oleg Maskaev even after about 15 consecutive punches on his glass chin. And Peter surely cannot outbox Vitali. His only hope is a Vitali injury.

 

The ropes prevented Maskaev from falling, if the ref didn't wave it off he would have been asleep on the floor or asleep standing up...

He made Sam wait along time, and he had to pay.

ViTKLiT is next.

 

If I was you, I would look at this fight from a rational point of view. The difference in size (height, reach) and skill level is so much that I cannot see Peter having much of a chance.

What advantage does Peter bring to this fight besides age? I really don't see anything. Does Peter hit harder then Vitali? I doubt it. Does Peter have a better chin then Vitali? Probabbly not. Skill level, Peter is not on the same planet. Then, Peter has a massive size advantage that he is giving up as well. Bare another Vitali injury, I don't give Peter much of a chance even at Vitali at 75%. Vitali has always fought very well against fighters that fight like Peter.

A few solid power punches from Vitali, and I think Maskaev & Mccline are down for the count. Peter hit them with everything and the kitchen sink and didn't score one KD.

What advantages does Peter bring to this fight? Is your pick of Sam Peter based solely on Vitali being older and injury prone. Is all your hope in Vitali getting injured? May be you lucky but I doubt it.

Vitali has a tremedous size and skill advantage. I think Vitali also hits harder and has a better chin. Peter almost got knocked out by Mccline, and shook pretty bad from 'one' shot from Maskaev in his last two fights.

 

I'll check it out in a minute...I just went to pick something up to eat, had to get the answers for my test tomorrow, and got my lady on the phone...
