Vitali needs to put Boente in his place, it is Vitali who should decide on who to fight, not Boente!!!
Boente seems to decide who he fights by the sounds of that, if Vitali wants to fight David he easily could do.
Vitali cannot knock out Chisora. If they ever fight again, Vitali will be even older, and Chisora will still be 12 years the younger man. Also, unfortunately, Chisora seems to have made his name as a world player and thrown away his career on the very same night. I'll be very surprised if he's not banned for at least 12 months. And I'll be very surprised if he can keep out of trouble in those 12 months. Chisora proved himself a proper fighter, and with only 17 fights under his belt he did very well. Haye doesn't deserve a shot at Vitali. But I guess he could generate a lot of money as an opponent. I suspect Haye could beat Vitali. But he simply doesn't deserve a shot. The way he "fought" Wladimir should be enough to disqualify him from an immediate shot at the WBC title. There are other guys out there who would love to get a shot. Haye shouldn't be allowed to just walk right back in to a title fight.
It's not a contradiction. Just because someone might be capable of beating the champion doesn't mean they should jump the queue, when other more active fighters are out there fighting to get a shot. George Foreman beat Michael Moorer in 1994, but he didn't actually deserve that shot. Leon Spinks beat Muhammad Ali in 1978, but he didn't really deserve that shot.
Vitali says he wants to fight Haye. Bonte says no. Vitali says he wants to rematch Chisora. Bonte says no.
