Vitali was dropped in sparring by Oquendo

    In the Tomasz Adamek camp, Vitali was given a black eye and then dropped by Fres Oquendo. Vitali then called an end to the sparring and Fres had to pay for his own travel home. There were many witnesses to this. Both were wearing 18oz gloves and headgear.

    This is from Oquendo's manager who says he kept this to himself out of respect but since the camp, Vitali has gone back on his word to give Fres an opportunity to fight for the title so he needs to tell the truth and reveal why Vitali is scared.


    Any truth to this Chef??

    Probably just his manager trying to sell the fight. The way he said it sounded pretty suspect:

    'Frustrated him, got the best of him, busted him up and dropped him.'

    Plus Fres isn't a big puncher, and Vitali has an iron chin.

    Several people have dropped Vitali in sparring, I wouldnt be surprised if this latest story is true.

    He wants a big paycheck an hes mad he didnt get the fight. He didnt do **** to get a title fight to begin with. Didnt Oquendos camp say they had the klitchko fight when it wasnt even true.

    sounds like total bull****

    Vitali has never been dropped in a ring in his entire life. With headgear on I'd have no idea how you could drop Vitali, even with a weapon.

    Fres got stopped by John Ruiz.

    No disrespect to Ruiz, but Ruiz is the man who could go the distance 12 times in 10 fights.

    The commission should hand in the WBC belt to Oquendo as soon as possible. Sparring is serious business among cockroaches.
