Given the nature of the business you don't sign two fights in advance. Haye knew he killed the Vitali fight by taking Chisora on that date. Thinking otherwise is simple nuthuggery. Don't try to claim a technicality here. Haye had a choice to make between two fights and made his choice. That choice killed the Vitali fight. It is as simple as that.

 

Vitali's manager said that if Haye fought Chisora, then Vitali would fight the winner.
