its a common ritual amongst klit-ites, overrate his competition beyond who they truly are r what they're capable. as i expected, im already starting to see some people saying that lennox lewis struggled against briggs while vitali played with him, coincidentally leaving out that shannon briggs was in X10,000 better shape, better state of mind and most importantly could actually throw alot more than 10 punches a round. i never understood the logic and mindset of klit lickers, and quite frankly i don't think i ever will.

This would explain a big part of why Briggs couldn't move his head or feet at all in 12 rounds. It also explains why he couldn't throw more than 1 punch at a time or keep his hands up. Briggs was not fit to be competitive in a championship fight for many reasons. I heard he didn't even throw any punches during his shadow boxing session in the pre-fight open workout.

Still, credit to Vitali Klitschko for showing up in shape and ready to take care of business. And he did just that at 39 years old. It really, really pays to take good care of yourself in between fights. The K2 brothers are true professionals and are ruling the current heavyweight division because they are the best.

Vitali did what he had to do against a 38 year old shot Briggs, but let's not get carried away. This was another stay busy fight for Vitali and no real challenge.

Vitali's biggest challenge against these B level contenders is staying sharp himself and staying motivated and not becoming complacent.

Got to love the haters. Vitali is about 40. Lewis didn't want to rematch Vitali at 37.

the stupidity thats coming out on this board since the briggs fight is unreal....

the fact that briggs is 38 isnt the issue, as vitali is older in terms of actual age....

but briggs has been fighting for over 2 decades, and was beaten by lennox lewis convincingly about 12 years ago....

he was a slow, overweight, plodding fighter the night he faced vitali, and vitali still couldnt put him on his ass, even though the ****er took alot of shots.

if briggs was in the ring with a focused fit lennox lewis the other night, the fight would not have gone past the 4th/5th round.

oh **** off, why do people keep on throwing around age?

lennox had been champion and on top of the division for years when he met vitali and was at the twilight of his career.....he came in against vitali, overweight, out of shape, and was plodding and slow, and vitali still couldnt deal with him.....

in boxing, age,is defined by the longevity of acareer, the amounts of years spent as a professional heavyweight, and the amount of hellacious training camps a fighter goes through, as well as the tough fights and wars spent in the ring...for example, for me, audley harrison, despite approaching 40, is not an old heavyweight, as he hasnt had a particularly long, hard career). In contrast, in the days of Ali, who was spent by the time he was in his late 30's, he had spent two decades in the ring, and had been through the most gruelling fights ever witnessed in the division's history...so he was a very old, jaded heavyweight in his late 30's.

a primed lennox (who i dont have in my top 10 at ATG heavyweight) ...****S vitali up each and every time

Be serious who else out there could beat the robot Vitali the answer is simple nobody he is probably the best gifted heavy right now, boring sometimes yes but very smart and effective plus his superb conditioning is second to nobody both brothers are PHD graduated (doctor) in physical education they know how to train they have mastered how to fight tall using their natural size to overwhelm the smaller opponents.
