Good point. He may not be on it now, but the statement he made was silly also

Ali, Foreman and Frazier beat him. Norton, has a chance. Holmes likely would. That's 5-6. But thats one of the best ages in HW boxing. Vitali is a heavyweight ATG.

You seem to be a lucky individual who hasn't seen some of the atrocities posted by klit lickers. Im referring to the hardcore fanboys. You clearly don't belong in that group. You seem to be a proper fan.

If you think what im posting is ridiculous then your agreeing with me that these fanboys are going way over board with their nuthugging. Because im basically summarising their entire argument in one line. Size = everything! Skill doesn't matter. Stupid isn't it?

Anyways seriously to answer your op i agree. He would be a top ranking contender who would be a nightmare h2h for anyone in that era.

He would be top 3 in the 70's if not better. He would KO Ali and Holmes easily, the only threat to him would be Foreman.

The cortisone was medically prescribed AND it impairs performance, rather than improves it, unlike most steroid based medicines.

You Klitschko haters must be really desperate if you are having to resort to childish smear campaigns against them!

Oh and by the way, Vitali would have beaten EVERYBODY from the 70s, and probably would not even been given any tough fights

Yep, In Russia/Ukraine you hang around the gym and buy steroids. What for BS....you took what ever a 'Russian' sports Dr. gave you, no ask. And a Dr. gave him steroids for damage he got kick boxing.

Don't do as told, they repo your car that normal folks had to wait 12 years to get.
You do as told and if you won a big medal, you got a two bedroom apartment.....gold meant once, Moscow and not Hickville.
It was still the tale end of Communism do as you are told, or else.

Some folks just can not get the scene set, nope to Indians with Winchesters in that Sparta movie. Nope to gangsters selling steroids in 'Russian' gyms. Penicillin yes...steroids no.

Big lol when I read that frazier woul beat vitali. Also foreman was too simple fighter to beat vitali- foreman won mostly because of his great chin and very good power. but that power wouldnt be enough for 243 lbs vitali.

I think he would be top 3 in the 70's for sure, he beats frazier, beats norton, I give foreman/holmes/young a decent shot at beating him but it would be hell for them.
And I believe he beats 70's ali as well, Pains me to say this cause ali is one of my favourite boxers, and I think 60's version ud's him but the clinching slower ali? He would have hell with vitali as well.
