    Would like to have seen that fight. How would Ali handle a guy Vitali's size and skilled. It would be a good fight but I think ALi would be able to land when I think about how easy Lewis was able to land on Vitali. I say Ali stops Vitali on cuts late in the fight.

    Ali's punches caused EVERYONE he ever fought (Until he was really starting to get shot) to either bleed, swell, or both.
    No exception.

    His punches were sharp and Ali was mean, if he knew about Vitali his thin skin it would be even worse.
    He'd only have to punch to open cuts, Vitali will lose by TKO against Ali.

    Dispute the 10 losses, but that's why Ali is a genius. He knows how to market and sell himself to the public so that he gets bigger paydays and bigger fights.

    On a side note, if you type paydays in the quick reply it says its an error and one of suggestions is "maydays", lol.

    1 extra Norton loss and one extra Young loss.

    Some say Shavers, but only Young and Norton I think count as a "real" loss, so 7 losses, don't know where he got the 10-12 from.

    What's more ludicrous than believing Vitali would beat Ali? Believing Ali was some sort of mythical unbeatable monster who was a h2h beast for anyone at anytime.

    There are a few fighters that most sensible boxing fans should favor over Ali. People can't see beyond the "golden" side of Ali and are hideously deluded.

    No but Ali has the right style to beat Vitali I would Favour Wlad against Ali but despite the size difference I think ALi would be the slight favourite against Vitali

    ok i agree he should have lost to Norton..dont agree with Jimmy Young...but lets put Vitali in with all the fighters Ali fought and see how he would fair,then put Ali in with the fighters Vitali fought and see how he would fair

    size difference??Ali was 6'3 himself so there would on be 3-4 inch's in height difference
