You are really pissing into the wind here.

You **** on Vitali for apparently getting KDed against Sanders, who hit like a mule. I say apparently because the ref didn't call it and Vitali obviously wasn't too badly hurt, because he won every minute of the rest of the fight.

In the same breath, you say "well Tyson needed 10 rounds of continuous punishment to get KOed" and use that as a PRO for Tyson. Like it's a NEGATIVE for Vitali that he doesn't lose rounds and soak up continuous punishment in his fights.

So, on the one hand, we have a 38 year old reigning heavyweight champion who has officially never been dropped in his pro career. A man who has been shaken up (but not dropped) exactly TWICE in 41 fights, who has won over 95% of the rounds he has fought, and who has allowed only TWO men to hear the final bell in his pro career.

On the other hand, we have a man who stands almost foot shorter, and who suffered two sustained beatdowns leading to KO losses before he turned 31. Plus another DQ loss that was heading the same way.

What does Vitali do to his opponents? He breaks them down and stops them late.

What did Tyson do? He KOed them early, OR won a decision, OR got steadily broken down and KOed late. He didn't keep his power in the late rounds like Tua does, or like Vitali does.

I bring up Ali/Cooper because Ali was dropped HARD by Cooper, no questions about it. Does that affect Ali's standing with you? Surely it must, because Henry Cooper is no Joe Frazier or Lennox Lewis. What is his claim to fame?

Listen to yourself. "Oh, Vitali got shaken up by Sanders (before dominating him) and he didn't stop KJ (only won 12 out of 12 rounds at age 38)! What a piece of **** this guy is! OBVIOUSLY guys like Holyfield and Tyson would KO him in the first three rounds, after all they were more or less invincible, except when they lost to each other!"

Yeah, I'm starting to get a little pissed here about all this hating on my man Vitali Klit..... In my view, V.K. has done and is doing everything he can possibly do to prove himself and be a class champion..... Why the hell do people insist on rocking the boat?

You don't hear about V.K. banging ho's at bars / clubs or fathering ******* kids from unknown women like several other key figures have done..... You don't hear about V.K. holding up a store or bank with some home boys from his hood, either..... Why is that?? Cuz the man has got class and sense...... He's not a nimrod like several former key players are....... V.K. has done the boxing world proud............

Vitali stopped Sanders who was a very talented heavyweight, hit like a mule kicks, Vitali stopped him. Simple put, Vitali would have knocked Ali, Holmes, all of them out. Vitali staggered Lewis, Lewis could not stagger Vitali, not one time. Lewis was losing on the cards and in the sixth round he had to hold on to Vitali to keep from falling down on the canvas. He flopped down on his stool finished. It is lucky that Lewis' promoter signaled Lewis' doctor/ref to stop the fight to save Lewis from getting knocked out in the next round. Angelo Dundee, Ali's trainer, said that Vitali was cheated out of the title that night. Lewis retired rather than fight Vitali ever again, and Vitali offered him huge amounts of money. Lewis' very badly broken nose hurt him too much.

Cooper had Ali out of his feet, so Angelo Dundee cut his glove to give him time to recover.

I also do not consider V.K. being knockdown against Sanders in 2004 in Los Angeles.... That was a wobble / stagger with a slip or so involved, but not a real legit knockdown.... The ref was right in NOT calling that.........

Was no knockdown in Vitali/Sanders fight, nor a stagger, just an off balance moment, nothing else. European haters will say anything to booster there delusions.

Haggis, FW is just taking the ****, jerking the chain, doing the wind-up, pulling the leg, pick your metaphor.

He knows Vitali is a top twenty HW alltime and a top five H2H.

He knows that Lennox is better alltime AND H2H, and he knows if he were to take himself seriously, and extend his logic, Lennox's two losse by brutal KO would (by FW's reasoning) put him lower than Lennox on both counts.

If a Klitschko-hater can get a semi from watching a non-KD of the big dude by Sanders, a Lennox-hater would get a wrought-iron hard-on watching Lennox get KTFO. TWICE.

    (See Zak for decisive evidence)

FW is just messing with Klitscko's more wide-eyed fans.

He doesn't much care for Vitali, but when he dwells on the matter he knows that prime Vitali probably stops Tyson in the first half of their hypothetical.

He relishes the fact that Tyon was more exciting but he realizes that without the intimidation that was such a part of Mike's arsenal, (in fact, Mike would be on the receiving end of that intimidation), this would be a frustrating exercise for four or five rounds.

And since Mike's mouth wouldn't reach Vitali's ears, FW probably speculates regularly on how Tyson would 'get out of' the rest of the fight.

So no need to point out the double standards.

FW KNOWS that 'enery's hammer putting Ali on his ass, does not detract from Ali's overall status as #1 alltime, and that the Sanders KD which never happened, detracts even less from Klitschko's legacy.

He's a bright guy. Just not a Klitschko fan.

Maybe some big Ukranian lad stole his old lady. Who knows ?

At any rate, you don't need to convince Fighting Weight.

    He knows.

And some nights, it gives him a bad dose of rectal heartburn.

Prime Vitali would defeat Prime Tyson, Ali and Foreman.

His chin would hold up and his power would rock the above.

Maybe not win by TKO by he would take it.

It's rather simple why some people mistakenly believe an oldtimer would beat a current heavyweight champion; they forget that back when the oldtimer was in his prime, The Ring Magazine was still writing that "the heavyweight division is utter garbage" type articles and they overlook the fact that the oldtimers were dominating 6' 188lber "giants". I think it's probably that boxing, like other sports, the current competitors would drub their predeccessors. I wouldn't be surprised at all if a 6' 208lb Sonny Liston couldn't manhandle one of today's talented big men the way he manhandled some 190lb opponent. Many of the oldtimers became legends fighting a pantheon of crap fighters. Look at Mariciano's revered record. His opponents had worse win-loss ratios as Nickolai Valuev's opponents, plus they were much smaller too and Valuev is one of the third raters today. Which brings me to another point, today a beltholder can easily be confused for a champion back in the old days a second rater and a third rater didn't get a pretty belt to have his picture taken with.
