I never said that at all. :-(

For all either of us knows Kevin has a rock for a chin. I doubt it myself since I think he was pulling away from the punch nearly every time VK landed which took away some of the power of the punches.

He also showed some very good head & upper body movement, especially early. Combine that with his defense only offense & you'd have a good explanation of why KJ didn't get KO'd.

i know your a klitschko fan but be realistic for one minute, kevins method of defense was putting his hands in front of his face and shelling up. he was open on many occassions to get hit, but klitschko as much of an experienced champ he is, couldn't capitalize on such amatuer tactics. nothing KJ did prevented vitali from knocking him out cold. he couldn't use any mauling tactics since he clearly wasn't the stronger fighter, he only had ONE punch and that was the jab which isn't even all that good to begin with. vitali didn't establish himself as the bigger, stronger fighter. all he did was throw punches, akin to how paul williams beat winky wright. vitali won on work rate and nothing more

Did nothing except win every single round, that is.

    :jjj

Don't tell me what I was saying before the fight. I put 60 vCash on Johnson before the fight, because I liked his odds. Johnson was undefeated and Vitali is 38, I thought Vitali could get old overnight. As it turned out, he has slowed but he still pitched a shutout.

So Sanders gave him "absolute hell" and Gomez gave him "problems as well." Those are the two fights you use as examples?

    :rofl

Frazier gave Ali absolute hell. Sanders landed a couple of good punches on Vitali, and then got dominated.

How many rounds did Sanders and Gomez win between them? Three, I think. And they both got stopped. Neither knocked Vitali off his feet or even seriously threatened to.

I can't even be bothered arguing with you. You have the opportunity to watch a dominant heavyweight champion cleaning out a division even as he approaches 40 years old, beating up and coming undefeated fighters, and you are shitting all over him for.... what, exactly? Not stopping an undefeated contender who spent the whole fight trying to survive and who lost a shutout? Why even bother arguing with someone like you?

    :hat

I don't know, how many times would Tyson get caught coming in & get discouraged like he did against glorified bouncers? How many of those bouncers made it to the 5th round? James Bonecrusher Smith survived against Tyson didn't he? Didn't that Mirovic guy almost beat Lewis? That's far worse than Vitali not knocking out Kevin Johnson when he still won every round.

Vitali was clearly the stronger fighter against Johnson just as he'd be against Tyson. You need to follow another sport, maybe WWE?

Seriously, only the second guy to lose & go the distance in VK's entire career and this lefthook89 loser says he's feather fisted, no skill, slow & plodding & he only has 2 punches in his arsenal.....................

well forgive me that an obviously limited fighter beating up on overly matched mediocre fighters doesn't tickle my fancy as much as you klitschko fanatics, but its just me really. i just dont find a stiff, robotic fighter beat on bums in boring fashion. and judging from the amount of posts on ESB, im clearly not alone.

he sure as hell didn't fight like it, if anything he was hesitant. it looked as if he was about to have a seizure from all the shaking and tentative shots he was throwing against such a known weak puncher. i can only imagine what vitali's impression would be against a known explosive power puncher like tyson. i think the pressure alone would knock vitali out.

Vitali "I must break you" Klitschko would hold his own.
