Vitali keeps turning his opponents, keeps touching them and then starts to land so serious punches.

    I'd say.

Reflexology (zone therapy) is an alternative, complementary, or integrated medicine method of treatment involving the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hand with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on what reflexologists claim to be a system of zones and reflex areas that they say reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body. A 2009 systematic review of randomised controlled trials concluded that the latest available evidence does not show that reflexology is an effective treatment for any medical condition.

Vitali's defense isn't talked about enough. The man will often willingly trade with his opponents, make them miss nearly everything, and pound them back repeatedly with counterpunches. It ain't always pretty, but that's the way to fight.

Yes, he is a great counter-puncher.

Sick, my ass. He leans back from punches, only reason he gets away with it is because he is much taller than his opponent. You saw what happended against a skilled man his size against Lewis, Vitali got hit a lot with the right hand and busted up in the process.

Leaning back only works if you are MUCH taller than the other guy. Vitali has unfair size advantage over the others. His style would not work if he had a normal size.

Floyd sometimes leans back and it works for him well even when he is the smaller one.

:bartSilly statement. Tye Fields has an unfair size advantage too, and he sucks. Dimitrenko the same thing. Michael Grant, etc. etc. Vitali has a style that works very well for him, and that's the point.

Maybe if Vitali tried some more mainstream medical avenues he could do something about his sickness.

He's a doctor, he should be able to do something about it already.

Floyd fights a totally different style than Vitali. In contrast to Vitali, Flyod does not pull straight back from the right hand but rolls with it. Floyd sometimes pulls back from weak ass jab, that is totally different. But is guess technical knowleadge is not everybody strength here at the ESB.

Vitali just leans back from most punches of his opponent and that only works because he is much taller.

No, the point is that his style only works for guys who are very tall. Use your common sense, you saw what happened when he faced Lewis. He gets away with it against shorter guys. Though I agree that he has good reflexes, this particular style would not work if he were 6 foot 3 in height.

I don't think you get the point. Yeah, it helps if you are taller as you have more time to avoid the punch by pulling back. But look at what Vk does - he counters the **** out of people not only avoiding their punches, but also letting his flight at the same time. VK is a master at anticipation and I don't remember a single HW who as such a devastating counter puncher and at the same time an aggressive fighter. Sluggers plodding forward (Arreolla, Peter, Williams) are custom made for him, though he has problems with very defensive fighters (Byrd, Johnson).

There were plenty of guys who were his size and couldn't touch him. You ought to have very good technique on top of being tall to deal with VK. Even Lewis had his problems with the style and had to make it an out of all brawn to get the better of VK.

Make no mistake, VK doing defensive things he does at 39 is almost an unbelievable feat.
