I just watched the Klitschko-Lewis highlights once again and have come to the conclusion:
You are right! His ability to dodge punches is sick! Also the leaning and the punching shortly after it.

It's probably my fav Vitali's ability. Of course he's pretty much far from Ali and Roy Jones in it but it's basically the same type of ability. Natural reflexes, only a fighter that is to a big degree fearless can display that IMO.

I think the dodging and slipping punches ability of Klitschko was best seen in the Arreola fight. That was very, very impressive for an 38 year old 6`7 guy.

I prefer Wlads punching power and his perfect footwork.

I think the big difference is Vitali can actually punch while moving laterally, Wlad does have very good lateral movement but he needs to set his feet to start punching again.
Seems Vitali can punch from any angle where Wlad is a lot more textbook.

That right hook on Danny in the gif above is a perfect example where he is stepping to his left and generates even more power on the hook.

cant even pull one gif outta wlad peter no 1 without catching that hideous back leaning and Wlad is a technically better puncher but wont fight going back or in closeits go away badly or lean on his opponents back

Vitali has a very underrated defense. He made Kevin Johnson, a skilled a quick 6'3" fighter with an 80" reach miss several times on a jab!

Actually, when Johnson opened up to throw something, that was the time VK was having the best of him. VK just looked awful when Johnson would jus tplay defasively.
