Nothing wrong with jumping ship when your fighter loses.

It's called fan scalping and it's a common way for boxers to grow in popularity.

Look at Mayweather/Hatton for an example - Floyd scalped half the boxing fans in the UK that night.

 

Why would Haye fight Vitali? He has no beef with him, what's the point.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not.

If not: This isn't the WWE, you don't box (or refuse to box) a fighter because of a "beef". You box for pride, glory, money, etc... and a Vitali-Haye fight checks those boxes for both fighters.
