Vitali's lean back style works against shorter guys, against guys as tall he needs to mix it up which he can.
Because of his bad foot work he doesnt do wel vs very quick guys like tyson and ali but also not vs tall guys like lennox,holmes,bowe,foreman and his brother wlad.
Im not saying he loses all these match ups I think he wins some and loses some but they all would give him a very tough fight.
Otherway around as well, he gives all the guys a tough fight and beats a lot of atg heavies as well, his great chin and awkwardness help him a lot therefore he is a h2h nightmare for anyone in the division.

 

His defense, like his entire style is based on making his physical attributes as effective as possible. The best aspect of his defence is how well he can judge & manipulate range against shorter opponents.

He doesnt have great feet & often squares up but he is good at parrying & blocking shots. He also leans straight back a lot, which will cause problems against guys of a similar size or who have good speed.
