His injury supposedly occurred Mid August well its now Mid Oct at least 8 weeks and should have healed by now. Yet nothing from K2 on the subject.
Meanwhile Stiverne will be heading to the WBC convention in Thailand to personally request that Vitali fight him or be stripped of the WBC title.
If this doesn't occur they are going to explore every legal option.
No one man is greater than the sport itself.

He isn't not boxing because of his hand, he's not boxing because he doesn't have the time. He's preparing to run for president of Ukraine. I really do think we may have seen the last of him in a ring.

Searching the terms "Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko" brings up a really good story written on a very well known sports channel in the USA on Sept 15."

I agree, if he doesn't want to fight any more that's fine but no need to hold up the careers of a bunch of top heavyweights trying to achieve their dream. Its ludacris that one guy is purposely sidelining half of the heavy weight division because he doesn't know if he wants to fight. He's been extremely inactive as in, just hang up the gloves if you have other things or make him champion emiritus or something so he can keep his ego in check.

It's up to the WBC to strip him as I don't think Vitali is going to vacate the title. However we already know the WBC will do anything to keep some type of title on Vitali, but still, the blame falls on the WBC for not stripping/standing up to Vitali.

Then he should have relinquished the title, announced his retirement from boxing and focused become a full time politican. Right now Vitali is being a dick to the every other heavyweight in the world, but Stiverne most of all, by clinging onto a Title he does not seem to have any intention of defending and keeping everyone in limbo. And the WBC are losing whatever respect and legitimacy they had by allowing him to get away with all this bull****.

Its already been well over a year since Vitali defended his title and even if he announced a fight tomorrow it would be close to 1.5 years in between defenses by the time the fight happened.

At this point the WBC should really start to look at stripping Vitali, or at the very least appoint Stivierne as interim champ.

If the WBC doesn't do it than Vitali should announce his plans and either retire or say he will fight again.

The Klitschko's (who are 2 of my favorite boxers) have always talked about sportsmanship and such but Vitali sure isn't practicing what he preaches by sitting on his belt and holding it hostage.

Time for the WBC to sanction an interim title fight.

Vitali is above the biz of boxing now and it's time for him to move onto the world stage and help his people out in the very corrupt Ukraine.
    Good luck with that,Champ!

Why wasn't Peterson stripped of his title for using steroids, having a crooked referee, judges, cheating in general?

How can Wilder be ranked #3 by WBC without fighting anyone ranked? The haters should ask that Wilder lose his ranking ASAP!

    Most definitely.

Maybe Wilder vs. Stiverne for a WBC interim title.

Wilder would not fight Stiverne. He will only fight unranked fighters period. Of course you want Wilder to fight for the title, but who has he beaten? Sconiers? I think Vitali should fight Wilder for a big money fight. Vitali by knockout. Wilder would not have a chance................Vlad easily outboxed Wilder while sparring for the Wach fight, knocked Wilder down with a jab!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!! I knew that Wilder fans would want Vitali to retire, then the WBC would just give the title to Wilder?! Vitali and Vlad would easily have 100% knockouts against Wilders opponents. Come on now, tell us how many ranked fighters Wilder has fought?! OK, just run away, call anyone who disagrees with you names. Children at plan. Perhaps they should go and bully some little baby somewhere?
