guys to you think there is a slight possibility that vitali can not pull the trigger anymore (in the words of the great roach lol) i mean i know peter is 1 hard MOFO with a solid ass head, but think about it everything does add up please no hate i just want seriouse posts of what you guys think?
I think he'll look worse against Haye. Haye's speed should cause him to miss some punches and look slow. Not saying he won't win but I think it will be harder for him to find the mark. This is of course providing Haye goes in there and boxes using his speed instead of going toe to toe.
i agree. both klits have methodical style of breaking down and outthinking an opponent, which is not as amusing to watch as a fighter gambling with hayemakers, but i think the klits are the type similiar to larry holmes, if the knock out comes, it comes. they don't really push themselves to hard to make it happen, yet these guys including holmes have some of the highest knockout percentages. not a bad formula
I doubt it,Haye has no head movement, and is too wild.He won't get pas the jab.He doesn't use lateral movement either s\and has a questionable chin.I really doubt he will win.But I can be wrong.
Actually I think he does have some head movement. Watch his fight with Maccarinelli (no the best opponent I know). He almost all of Enzo's punches. Besides, with a style and chin like his, he must have head movement otherwise he'd have been knocked before.
if haye had any advantage, it might be he'd been active, while vitali has not. i really don't see haye being much faster than vitali or koing vitali, who's faced much greater punchers than haye. even in a boxing match haye has a horrible defense and has been hurt very badly by cruisers, while vitali has never been seriously hurt by heavies, much less cruisers. when haye starts going for the clinches, both klits are well known inside fighters and have a deadly uppercut that they know how to use very well. i think i'll go with vitaly in a stoppage win, but haye being very game. haye relies too much on power and will need more than that for the klits
Maccarinelli ain't the best of fighters and punches telegraphed.Anyway we''llsee.I dount Haye can take Vitali but I have been wrong before.
I think this is the crux of a Haye victory. Let's face it, we know Haye would not stand much of a chance against the Vitali who fought Lennox. But time does take its toll. Unfortunately, there is still a big question mark as to how much it has taken from Vitali. The Peter fight did not indicate anything because Peter is suckish beyond suckish. If Vitali has slipped far enough, Haye will use speed, power and stop him. If Vitali's timing and reflexes are still good, he will stop Haye.
Being a fan of Haye and wanting him to win, I'd hope he goes into this fight to box instead of looking for a KO.
I'm sure he can still pull the trigger. Often times the Klitschko's dont need to pull the trigger because they are simply that far ahead of their oppostion so they dont take the risks.
for sure, vitali still punches damn hard. But im not certain he can still bang pure KO punches because of the long lay off and ring activity haye is the underdog for sure, but i think haye should not being going out there to try and box vitali, i feel his only chance would be to go for the ko. But in a controled way, not going gung-ho
Vitali looked rusty, not gun shy in that fight with Peter... but the guy is getting up there in age, and it's somewhat unlickely, but it wouldn't surprise me too much if Vitali were to look old against Haye in his upcoming fight.. and it wouldn't surprise me if Haye was all of a sudden too quick for the veteran Klitschko. I mean the guy is getting up there in age and all that inactivity and injuries ain't helping much.
