Haye's got a lot of body to aim at and with the size difference, he could have an advantage if he can get past Vit's jab. Batter the ribs and heart and watch him rapidly age.

I know what you're thinking - this is just wishful thinking, but it's not, it's not. Haye can win - he can I tell ya.

I find it really hard to believe u've ever seen Haye fight with a comment like that, Haye's all about reflexes and movement to get out of the way of punches, watch the Maccaranelli fight and see how Haye move's his head out of the way of every single jab he throws and remember Mac is alot quicker than the ageing Vitali.

Enzo Maccaranelli is NOTHING like Vitali Klitschko. Haye is going to have a rude awakening when he gets hit with the first straight right Vitali throws. Enzo is a Glass Jawed joke. He came into the Haye fight looking like he just got out of bed.

Vitali beat the "wrought iron chined" Peter, and did so methodically. He didn't go all out because he wanted to pace himself.
He was pretty damn close to his old self.
I'd like to see him slug it out with Dave.
Things can happen at his age, though.
I was surprised how fast Mercer declined.

I thought he was every bit as effective as his old self.

He stopped Peter, and that has never been done before, and he did it after NO tuneups, and four years without a fight.

I fail to see how someone can question that kind of a performance, against that tough of an opponent, when he had not fought in four years.......:blood

He was the first man, ever, to stop Peter. He had Peter staggered in the eighth, and he had Peter KNOWING he would be KOed next round or two, and yet someone questions his power?

    Amazing. :blood

I didnt say he was like Vitali, Vitali is a completely different animal, i said he is quicker which he is and its going to feel pretty easy to get out the way at times for Haye due to the slowness especially if he is as slow as he was against Sam Peter. Will probably change though as the fight goes on and Haye slows down.

Peter was staggered in round eight, and he knew he could not stand another round of that kind of pounding, and stay on his feet.

But as I see it, quitting, with no hindering injuries is worse than getting knocked out.

Peter was too ashamed to get KOed (it was coming), so he quit. But I think quitting when you are healthy and uninjured, should embarrass him more than merely getting KOed by a heavy puncher.
