yes I did a Tube video on this, but the fans overlook them & call them boring fighters when these dudes are amazing fighters...the other problem I have w/ either Klit bro' is that they will never fight each other so one must retire
Now you're going to turn this into a semantics debate. Perfect, I never even mentioned walking a guy around the ring. I'm quoting you here. You mentioned walking him back. If there's a difference between walking a guy down or walk him back, then tell me. It's not like this is conventional boxing terminology. Neither is walking a guy "around the ring" as opposed to walking a guy down. The first, something I didn't even mention. Nice diversion, though. Right, this is what Holyfield did to Tyson. He walked him back, deliberately. Absolute bull****. 1) Why didn't Vitali do so as extensively as he did in round 6? 2) Why was Vitali visibly gaping for air through his mouth (I know he does this as a habit, but never as severely). 3) Actually, it was Lewis plan to make it more of a brawl brilliantly adjusted in the middle of the fight by Steward's in between corner advice. As he later said "I realized Lewis wasn't used to fighting a taller man so I wanted him to make it a rough fight." Lewis said the same thing in the post-fight press conference. Vitali doesn't ever fight like this. Never has before or since, he likes comfort NOT pressure. Why doesn't he utilize this against smaller opposition more often? Because it wasn't his strategy, it was Lewis trying to make it an ugly match. To me, he's deliberately clinging on because he's a little hurt and tired, and doesn't want to be punched in the face. Why oh why, would Vitali with a horrendous cut and a desperate need for a knockout decide to significantly drop his punch output only to develop a long term strategy to "wear' Lewis down. If this is what his plan was, then it was idiotic on Vitali's part. This however, sounds like it fits perfectly into your transparent revisionist view. Especially since you know Vitali would've have knocked him out within the next 3 rounds. Vitali must be no real Rocky Marciano then. Yes, Lewis was more hurt in that round than Vitali. :nut He stole it by faking the crowd and judges! A regular Sugar Ray Leonard. His dramatic drop in punch output and excessive clinching had nothing to do with that (And if that is his plan it can be penalized within the scoring). At least you have the common sense to admit this. The next step is to admit that Vitali didn't deliberately and spontaneously decide to wear and lean on the Lewis (The man who actually weighed more) because it seemed like a good plan. Lewis altered the course of that round hugely with that uppercut, don't diminish that... unless of course you have a translation of what Vitali corner told him to do before that round "Lean on him... it's the perfect long term strategy. It doesn't matter if the doctor has looked at the cut. There's no reason for him to stop this fight. You look beautiful!" He lost the last round. So in actuality, the evidence suggests his plan wasn't working. Yes, but you saw Lewis shrugged down to his corner stool. That's the only real evidence you have with this theory. Vitali had the cut, I'm sure he was aware that his face was ****ed up.
A positive thread about one of the Klitschko's! I bet this pissed off the Lewis huggers and ESB's cadre of 70's heavyweight boxing experts, most of whom were not alive during the era. Just read the thread and it was even worse than I expected. Right from the start all of the usual hare lips are bithing about competition this and weak era that and ****** lewis would have done this if the fight continued. Rinse and repeat... F'd up little whiney, hare lip bitches you lack the athletic prowess to pick up Klitschko's dry cleaning, constantly putting the guy down. PATHETIC!!!
What bollocks :rofl:rofl:rofl ****ing klit-ites at it again, re-writing history. Lewis won the 6th round on all 3 cards. If you want to dispute that then go ahead and I'll dispute the bull**** rounds that VITLAY supposedly won in that fight whilst getting the living **** beaten out of him. What was the result again? Oh yeah, didn't go well for your guy that night did it? What a ****ing moron.
no problem :thumbsup I was surprised also to see Haye there :huh I guess he has to be cautious at Heavy weight since he's so small
