When you agree with a post like that you have been brainwashed. Beating a number of 235 pounders does not equal greatness. Lets get one thing straight when Nikolai Valuev can win a version of the word title we are in a very weak period.

 

How many times have you read the words "very weak period in HW boxing" in boxing articles? Now you parrot the line as your own.

 

Fighters dont refuse. Fights dont get made because they cant agree on money. They had agreed to fight earlier in 2009, it fell through because Hayes TV could not make the payments.

That statement is correct. Vitali has been unlucky that he has boxed in a dullish period.

 

Lennox just came to the end of his career, I think had there been a rematch 6 months or 12 months further on, VK would have won. Lennox was in decline and VK was on the way up. In many respects VKs 2 losses were some of his best fights, he dominated Chris Byrd until the injury and was pretty level against Lewis, although he was stopped on cuts, the injury was via punches so its hard to make a case that Lennox did not win, but you could see that VK had great boxing skills.
