Vitali's resume is awful, but it keeps getting worse. His best wins are Chris Arreola, Thomas Adamek and Derek Chisora. Since Vitali beat them, Arreola has gone on to lose twice to fellow fat plodder Bermane Stiverne and to Thomas Adamek. Adamek has gone on to get schooled by Eddie Chambers, Steve Cunningham and some unknown guy recently. Chisora got destroyed by David Haye, who Vitali then ran from. Vitali will go down in history as the best paper champion of all time!
Don't forget that Povetkin is fighting Charr this month. Wlad's leftovers vs. Vitali's leftovers. Whoever loses makes the Klits' resume look even worse. I personally hope Povetkin wins, so the people on this site will see that Charr is a very limited fighter.
It's his fault that he ducked all the best fighters in this weak era. He never fought Holyfield, Povetkin, Chambers, Dimitrenko, Chagaev, Fury, Tua, Rahman and many others. The most skillful fighters all went to Vlad. Vitali only fought slow fat plodders.
Wlad's opponents always beat Vitali's opponents, because they actually have skill. Haye schooled Chisora. Chambers schooled Adamek. Thompson schooled Solis. Ibragimov schooled Briggs. Rahman even schooled Lennox!
You know what's funny? Lewis fought and beat three of the guys on that list. Vitali never even fought a washed-up Rahman, Tua, or Holyfield. Just more proof that Lewis is better than Vitali.
He also beat Herbie Hide, Sam Peter and Corrie Sanders in world title fights and had a close fight with Lennox Lewis and was unlucky never to get a rematch. Along with the other names, that's a pretty good resumé for such a weak era - enough to make him clearly the second best of the last 10 years. And because previously undefeated fighters go on a downward spiral after getting beaten by a champ that doesn't mean they aren't good wins.
Chambers lost to Adamek and if Solis was in any sort of shape he would have beaten Thompson. you have a very liberal understanding of the word 'schooled'
