which fight were you watching lol? Vit had to ignore his own defence constantly in order to hit and start outpointing Lewis. If the fight had gone on he would have got knocked out bigtime.

Vitali cant win just by going for broke for 4 rounds, thats just asking to be demolished late on.

Im going to say this so all the dickhead haters can sort of get a Picture of what happens in sport.

Every Sport and especially boxing has Era's when the sport is fantastic full of talent and when it is not so much.

Now i do not blame Vitali or Wlad for what the Heavyweight division is today and i can understand why they dont fight each other there blood.

But to beat mostly everyone put in front of them is as much as you can ****ing do.

And like people have said Tyson fought in a Era when it was very poor also but and im a huge Tyson fan and no one blames him.

Yet this comes back to my argument that i have on a regular basis is because most fans on here are biased towards American fighters they send out hate especially when a International is ruling a sport they love.

I feel Vitali and Wlads wins a pretty good and in fact i would me even go as far to say Wlad and Vitali's resume are better than Tyson's.

    Mike Tyson 10 best wins.

    1. Frank Bruno
    2. Larry Holmes Way past Prime
    3. Michael Spinks 175 Champ moved up
    4. Tony Tucker
    5. Trevor Berbick
    6. Donovan Ruddock
    7. Pinklon Thomas
    8. Carl Williams
    9. Francios Botha
    10. Tyrell Biggs

Now I remember most of these guys and have watched all these fighters.
The first 5 are decent wins and i love Tyson remember but what is so different about them wins to these.

    Vitali Klitschko

    1. Odlanier Solis
    2. Thomas Adamek
    3. Samuel Peter
    4. Corrie Sanders
    5. Chris Arreola
    6. Juan C Gomez
    7. Kevin Johnson
    8. Herbie Hide
    9. Shannon Briggs
    10. Danny Williams

The only thing when i look back at it that really sets it apart is Spinks is a better win than Adamek at the Light Heavy's coming up and the Fact Tyson has that win against a well Past it HOFamer in Holmes.

Apart from that is Pinklon Thomas or Trevor Berbick better fighters or wins than say Shannon Briggs and Corrie Sanders.

    Not really.

Good post. I'd like to know what amazing fighters Holmes beat while they were in their prime? How about Joe Louis? Jack Johnson? Jack Dempsey? Marciano? These guys make like this division is the absolute worst it's ever been but that's not true at all.

He's not an atg by any definition really.

He's had a comeback but only as a second fiddle to his brother (who truly is a great fighter!)

At the turn of the millennium vitali played second fiddle to lewis.

He had maybe an 18 month period where he was the daddy of the division but then he retired.

    He's maybe top 30 at a push.

I heavy rate a fighter by the hall of fame fighters they have beaten and legends and elite competition and to be honest i can't find one person on vitali's resume who fits under one of these categories so i rate him low.

Tyson's resume is not that great either but we know he's a bad ass but he never lasted long. Try compare Vitali to Ali, frazier, foreman, lennox, louis, jack johnson, holmes, holyfield. He doesn't compare and when all said and done a shot lennox TKO'd him in 6 rounds he could even finish the fight and lose a 12 round UD or something more respectful. Even shot tyson did better vs lennox. Really vitali would get battered vs the greats.

top 3 hw based on what?? i know this era is **** but he still has 2 loses and even if he went 100-0 in this era he wont be top 10 all time hw because he hasnt proven himself against an atg and thats pretty unfortunate because he has never had the chance too.. same as rocky marciano he was 49-0 but he will never be top 5 hw because he never really beat any1 great in there prime.

Lmao! That's pretty funny, I didn't even notice it. I just hate posting from my phone. Perhaps you'd like to make an argument about exactly why Vitaly's resume affords him all time greatness and we can see who is really "dumb and ignorant"? :hey

Britards just cant seem to stop having a hard on for the K Bros.

The hate seems to be over fact that they are stopping any British HW from becoming champ.

I can't be arsed getting involved in all this banter but here goes:

"They never stopped Lennox Lewis :deal"

"Plante Klit, where Adamek, Chisora and Peter are the new Ali, Frazier and Foreman"

    :lol::lol::lol:

Well, you could count the number of Hall of Famers those fighters beat, and compare it to Vitali (0 and unlikely to be added to).

Leaving to one side the argument of how bad the current era is, Vitali hasn't beat the best fighters of the era. While he has dominated his opposition (with the notable exceptions of the two best fighters he faced), he hasn't dominated the division or unified titles.

A lot of Klitschko fans seem to group their resumes together, and give them some kind of joint credit for dual dominance of the era. The assumption seems to be that if Wlad beat them, then big bro would have done so too. Vitali has made several defences of a fragmented title, and his record is virtually devoid of unification matches.

Vitali has been unlucky to have been in a weak era, hampered by injuries in his prime, not being able to fight his brother, being denied his defining rematch with Lewis, etc, etc. However, bad luck and quirks of fate shouldn't be used to inflate his resume - his record will ultimately stand on its own merits, and history will probably be less than kind when assessing his ATG claims.

    I know this.

It's still his 12th most significant win. His top 11 aside, his resume takes a SEVERE drop off.

Vitali's resume drops off before you can name one fighter. He's been feeding off scraps since he unretired and only gets mentioned because he and his brother are classed as one entity by their numbskull fans.
