Vitali's resume may be a little weak but some of his feats are actually amazing

Lewis was on his way to the embarrassing lopsided loss. That's why he retired instead of rematching.

Vitaly was holding for dear life in the 6th. If anyone was eventually stopped in the next round, it would have been Vitaly. He was taking monsterous punches. You´re lieing about the fight.

That´s a lie. Vitaly did good the first few rounds, but Lewis clearly was taking over the fight.

When did he hold for dear life? Lewis was exhausted/beat and was exhausted at the end of 6. Way more so than Vitali.

Round 2 was when someone was holding on for dear life, and that person was not Vitali

Nope. Lewis was getting his soul extracted by Vitali.

Vitali was clearly winning and was clearly the fresher of the two at the end of 6.

    Vitali won 1,2,4,5
    Lewis 3,6

Lewis was holding on to Vitali to keep from going down. Max said that he had never seen Lewis flop down on his stool like he did and Max was sitting right behind Lewis' corner. The doctor did not even bother to look at the cut. Vitali will fight Lewis right now, but Lewis still refuses..............Angelo Dundee was one, if not the best, cut men in boxing. Marciano had a bad cut, the referee told Marciano that he would give him one more round, then Marciano went out and knocked his opponent out! I knew that Vitali would not run out of gas because he is never out of shape, and he took that fight on two weeks notice. Lewis was offered, by far, the biggest payday in his entire career, but he was still too afraid of a rematch. If Lewis thought that Vitali was such an easy fight, then why not fight for the biggest payday of his career? Vitali had lots of gas, Lewis was done for......................take a long look at Lewis' nose, it was badly broken, and no, the referee did not punch Lewis in the nose, it was from Vitali.....................why not stop the fight on Lewis' badly broken nose? We had a fight not long ago that was stopped because of a badly broken nose. Max Kellerman became a Vitali Klitschko fan that night and Max hated the Klitschkos, thought they were German..............I told Max years ago on national TV that Klitschkos were not German, they were Ukrainian and Ukrainians hated the Nazis, so did the Russians, etc., he finally found out they were not German.........

You can lie about it as much as you want. Fact is, Lewis won the fight. He did land the way more telling blows after the 3rd round and destroyed Vitaly´s face.

Did I say Vitali won? Nope

    Insecure much?

However, Vitali was clearly winning the bout. It's objective analysis. 4-2, 58-56. 156-102

    :hi:

Lewis was getting outlanded/outstruck and retired afterwards. That is also fact.

Vitali picked up round 4 and either round 3 or 5 depending of which official cards you agree with on workrate. He threw more punches, but Lewis was landing the cleaner and heavier shots from round 3 onwards. Vitali wasn't hurting Lewis in that second half of that fight, Lewis was hurting Vitali. It is clear to any impartial observer that the man throwing the better quality shots was Lewis.

The fight was close and neither man was "clearly winning". Vitali had two rounds in the bag from his quick start and Lewis being sluggish to get going, but if you take those two rounds out of the equation and assess their performance on the last four rounds then they were even. The case can be made that Lewis won rounds 3 or 5, and he clearly won round 6, while the case can be made that Vitali rounds 3 or 5 and clearly won round 4 - depending of how you score it 3 rounds to 1 for either man of 2 rounds each.

And as fas as "beat him up bad" goes, a picture tells a thousand words: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...&sa=X&ei=xSGLUohXx6OGB5KOgMAH&ved=0CEgQ9QEwBg

Vitali landed more punches than Lewis. Vitali staggered Lewis, but Lewis could not stagger Vitali. Yes, Lewis did use his head, used cuffing, lacing, rubbing his head into Vitali's cut, but so what. Almost every boxing gets cut at some time within their career. Max was right behind Lewis' corner and so were a lot of boxing experts...........ever notice the boxing media does not mention Lewis' badly broken nose? It was cutting his wind and making sick on the stomach. A broken nose also causes tears to come into your eyes, you can't see very well. Vitali was sure of a knockout, it was coming...........

It´s not objective, it´s subjective view of a Klitschko fan.

Fact is though, that an out of shape Lewis still beat a prime Vitaly.

If a knockout was coming, Vitaly would´ve been the one laying on the floor. He had to hold for dear life in the 6th round.

His resume looks weak because that's what the division offers. Vitali fights everyone the division has to offer. When Lewis was the main man in the sport, he went for him even on short notice and took the risk. His resume isn't as bad as many make it out to be though, he has some solid wins. Peter, Solis, Chisora, Adamek, Arreola, Sanders, Bean, Donald, Puritty and K.Johnson were all solid wins.

There were two points seperating the them on the official scorecards when the fight was stopped. Hardly lopsided. Do try to check the facts first.

Lewis was holding for dear life early in the fight too.
