Think about it. Before his layoff and after. Big klit is willing to fight any heayweight anywhere in a smart but crowd pleasing style, and then recently right after his beat down of a top 10 hvy calls out arreola to fight
..................in LA. Arreola's town. He also contends that nobody including
fans, or tv networks wants to see a fight with mis-mandatory maskaev and is prepared to battle the WBC in court for it. I mean, what is there to hate on about vitaly? These klit haters cannot call themselves boxing fans. Because vitaly klitschko is a fan friendly fighter. Oh, and he has the highest KO ratio of any heavyweight. Nuff said!
Vitaly klitschko. THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!

He's my favorite boxer and if I didn't lose an avatar bet I would have him in mine. The guy goes out and has Ko'd all but 1 of his victories which is amazing and even at 37 and a layoff, injuries he still comes back and made Sam Peter quit on his stool which nobody would have guessed would happen. The guy has never been knocked down or lost on cards his only losses were from injuries and a cut. Lennox promised him a rematch and then backed out and retired. I think for once in his career Lennox knew their was someone who he couldn't bully around. It's too bad that would have been a great fight for boxing and Lennox pussed out. I know LL was also old anyhow so I give him that much credit.

Personally I don't think he's boring at all. I like knockouts. I just find his style sloppy. Ugly but effective..

He just needs to KO Big O, and get that mandatory over with. It wouldn't take more than a few rounds, and he would'nt have to train for it (just like he probably didn't train too hard for Gomez).

Damn you guys are stupid or at least naive. Lennox retired BECAUSE HE HAD FOUGHT AND BEATEN EVERY FIGHTER HE FACED. He wasn't scared of Klitschko, he beat him. Stop already with the woulda coulda's and face the facts. And he didn't run scared of him, he retired on top which is more than most champs can say. Vitali is a decent boxer but "he does everything a fan could want?" pleeeease. How about fighting more than twice a year for starters. Next he can fight better opponents. Third, If he has a bum in front of him he can go ahead and knock him out. Fourth, stop calling out Lewis when Lewis is 43 and hasn't fought in years. Fifth, fight Haye so you can get you ass whooped. Sixth, Stop trying to bend the rules when you have to fight a mandatory. SEventh, stop coming up with these injuries right before you have a tough defense. Eighth, stop putting the belt to shame by putting on a horrific showing like your last fight. Need I continue?...

Lennox was losing the fight when it was stopped...promised a rematch which he never delivered and yes retired on top for obvious reasons.

In all fairness to both fighters, Lewis's victory over Vitali was unconvincing and Lennox did initially agree to a rematch. I do not think Lewis would have retired then if it weren't for the two Klitschko brothers running around. Lewis would probably still be champ if it weren't for those two.

I don't think anyone hates Vitali... at least I don't. The man does the best he can with what he has, and he has enough to be a formidable champ. Does he beat prime Tyson, Ali etc? Oh hell no. And I don't think Klitschko fans are happy about that, but it's just the truth.

Also, Lennox was going to KO Vitali. There's NO way you can watch that fight and not recognize Vitali fading and Lennox taking over. Just no way.

Absolute rubbish!!! Lewis sank on his stool after the last round like he was having a heart-attack. Vitali walked calmly back to his corner and except for the nasty cut looked cool and determined. Sans cut Vitali would have crushed Lewis in the next round. Lewis knew he got lucky and punked out of the rematch. Big George Foreman basically mocked Lewis for turning down a fortune in prize money and came close to accusing him of cowardice. He couldn't believe any true warrior would cheat the fans out of a great fight and huge boxing event.
