Yes, I think IF (big IF) he does fight again in two months, it'll more than likely be Stiverne. Then Haye will probably be next.

I think we have all agreed on Stiverne.

Chef- tell him his fans want to see him get Stiverne out of the way!

Vitali should wait moment and make his voluntary defence against James Toney, after Toney beats Lebedev in November

Considering he took almost zero damage against adamek he could fight in a month again if he wanted to.

Styverne is a valid option... And Vit will make Holmes jab look amateurish in that fight :hey

I'm surprised by that video though. Has Helenius improved that much since his amature days, or has Styverne deteriorated a lot since then? :think

My guess is that Helenius has improved lot since then and so is Styverne.

It would be pretty weird if they wouldnt have advanced anywhere in past six years of training

Have you seen Styverne's latest fight against Ray "Wlad's *****" Austin? He litterly made Austin look like Holmes in there, he looked really, really bad until the stoppage. I have to admit props that he won that after eating that many jabs for 10 rounds, but he looked so bad in there.

I must admit I haven’t but surely he must be better now, than he was in Tammer tournament years ago.

    all I know is... NOTHING.

No one has called me about a possible camp for Vitali so soon. IMO another fight in November when Wlad is due to fight in December wont happen........ but, you never say never.

Vitali could do a short camp as he is in amazing shape right now... really just need some sparring based on who is next and...... DONE

Good post. If the Haye fight doesn't happen I can see Vitali going after other old(er) guys, scalphunting. Valuev, Liakovitch, Rahman, and Chagaev are all former champs who would like some of that K2 money and none represent a major threat to Vitali. Plus he could take these fights on relatively short notice...I don't see him agreeing to fight Haye in 8 weeks time though.

I don't believe Dimitrenko will ever get in the ring with Vitali--that's all talk. They have the same trainer and Vitali would embarass Sasha.

    That fight was in 16.10.2004.

At the time Helenius was still with father as his coach. His father had no prior experience in boxing (as far as I know).

Robbe wasn´t training much, he had motivational problems and arguments with his trainer/father.

Everything changed after he went to Germany. Everything was professional. He´d had to train under Ulli Wegner´s eye. No excuses and no arguments. Trainer is the boss and everything goes as he says.

Helenius 2004 and nowadays is like Manny prior Roach and today*2. Hole different fighter.

That said, IMO Robbe would develop in his absolute peak and maximum under the training of Steward (that´s not going to happen, I know, but still)

Vitali gonna fight Haye in November. Ya heard it here first.

Haye wants a fight as quickly as poss. Vitali is in shape. Vitali wants haye. Haye wants another payday before he really does retire. Vitali wants to KTFO Haye.
