Dear bremen, to this date, you haven't cleared up what exactly made you post This content is protected in the TKO6 thread?
i don't think he's a fraud, i think his resume isn't as good as his brother's. he hasn't beaten the quality of opponent that wladimir has. and he had a four year layoff in the middle of his best years.
Vitali's run after coming back in 2008 has been incredible, and from 2008-2012 IMO was the clear cut best heavyweight in the world. 2011-09-10 Tomasz Adamek 44-1-0 STOPPAGE 2011-03-19 Odlanier Solis 17-0-0 STOPPAGE 2010-10-16 Shannon Briggs 51-5-1 SHUT OUT UD 2010-05-29 Albert Sosnowski 45-2-1 STOPPAGE 2009-12-12 Kevin Johnson 22-0-1 SHUT OUT UD 2009-09-26 Chris Arreola 27-0-0 STOPPAGE 2009-03-21 Juan Carlos Gomez 44-1-0 STOPPAGE 2008-10-11 Samuel Peter 30-1-0 - STOPPAGE
When you factor in how old he is and the age of his opponents and how he was out for 4 years and the way he never loses rounds then stops them or makes them quit it is pretty impressive. I understand what you are saying and agree to a point but this is far from the Prime Vitali and he has been the most active beltholder in the last 10 years by far.
Age is about the only thing you can say to make it look good and quite frankly, I'm not impressed if you beat a clubfighter at age 30 or age 40.
Yes incredible first and only to stop Adamek First and only to stop Arreola First and only to stop Solis First to even drop drop and stop Sosnowski Only one to stop Larry Donald First and only to stop Kirk Johnson First and only to stop Charr. Truly incredible.
