Lennox Lewis's best ever win is either Vitali Klitschko, an obese version of Tua or old Holyfield.

Wladimir Klitschko beat Chris Byrd not just once, but twice with ease. It's a fact.

Whilst I wouldn't use the word "fraud" to describe him, I honestly can't think of any other boxer more celebrated for a loss, than Vitali Klitschko. That he has managed to dine out on this, the high point in his career (being ahead on the scorecards before being stopped) for so long, beggars belief.

This isn't a criticism of the man/the boxer himself; more of the warped perspective on 'greatness', which seemed to evolve from that moment of his in the sun. Everything else before and after the Lewis fight pales into insignificance; is nowhere near as noteworthy and will barely be remembered.

Thus, Vitali's standing in Heavyweight history rests on relatively slim credentials, which for some reason seem to have maintained an epically exaggerated status.

 

His best wins are very poor for a HW who reigned on top for years. He has solid depth of "decent" wins but once again, his resume at the top is highly shallow for a HOF HW.

Not a "fraud," but unlike Wladimir who generally doesn't get enough credit, Vitali almost gets too much for "being a tough guy." People act like he hasn't lost and is unbeatable when he has two very legit losses and both were against the two best fighters he ever faced, sooooooooo....
