yeah, Arreoloa is a great person to gauge his power...he sat there and didnt do anything and ate punches like they were tacos.
find a decent guy vitali has fought.....and then when you do, let me know what that guy did and who he beat to worth a ****?
    kirk johnson?
corrie sanders? yeah, he was kod by rahman a few years earlier
danny williams? beat an old shell in tyson
sam peter- underachiever, only got a belt because he beat the absolute worst champion ever in mascaev
JC GOMEZ- nothing at heavy...very good cruiser
Arreola- beat mccline and chaz withersppon (yippie)
kevin johnson- i dont know who his biggest win was against..might not be one

not saying its all Vitalis fault, but his record speaks for itself...he has alot of wins, alot of tkos, but an overwhelming amount of horrible **** opponents

Geez, you'd think that today's era of heavyweights would be better than the time when heroin addicts lost their titles to fat South Africans, a worn out light heavyweight with bad knees outboxed a flabby champ who was coming off a gift decision over somebody named Carl Williams ( I don't remember for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if Holmes was younger than Vitali for the Williams fight ). Greg Page-yadah-yadah-yadah.

lol well you just demonstrated yourself to be a complete hater, nothing more.

The bold in your comments proves that yes, Arreola is perfectly qualified to rate Vitali's power.

You may criticize how unsuccessful Chris was in terms of implementing his own offense BUT he tasted Vitali's power and said Vitya had plenty.

I'll take Chris's word on the matter over yours, dumbass.

Looks like I woke up the Klithugers avalanche.I am waiting for the polls Joe Louis VS Klitschko . Sorry guys but this fight could go another 12 rounds and Vitaly would not had knocked him out. KJ is a nobody, Vitaly has a KO rate of 90% but has NEVER beaten anybody. You cant say you were impresed yeasterday. Tua has even better chin and also crazy power

When Vitali fought Peter, everybody said he was old, slow, Peter was complete **** and a skilled boxer like Gomez would beat him...then Gomez was stopped, now Gomez was garbage, Vitali looked horrible and a young, aggressive Arreola would beat Vitali...just because Vitali doesn't score flashy knockouts it doesn't mean he is easy to beat.

Sure, Vitali didn't look good against Johnson. So, on a bad night he still wins every round against an undefeated contender. Some ATG's have lost or got knocked down on their bad nights. I would say Vitali's performance yesterday easily beats Ali's very lucky first win against Cooper or Haye's win over Valuev. I doubt that taller opponents will look good against Johnson when he is in survival mode, Eddie Chambers probably would look better against Johnson than either Vitali or Wlad.

It's Joe LOUIS, not Lewis, unless you meant the Karate champion Joe Lewis. I don't think you did. The second guy he's defeated to go the distance and now he has zero power. Arreola must also have zero power, as a few guys have gone the distance with him. Wait, who does have power? The guys with a 100% knockout ratio only? 95%?

OK; if Vitali has never beaten anybody, who has Tua beaten? He lost to Byrd without being injured, Moorer was shot, Ruiz was never better than Kirk Johnson or Corrie Sanders. Tua has crazy power alright, what makes you think he can land on a 6'8 fighter with Vitali's ability to make opponents miss?

Arreola is a joke; hey I also have a 90% KO ratio against guys in my club but am nobody, VK has NEVER beaten anybody of importance. BTW Tua has POWER

Tua only need one left hook and he will deliver. And remember he has a granite chin, he has never been in KD. It is immposible not to get hit in the whole fight. Klitschko is not Lewis.

Man I don't think you are giving KJ his credit, if you can say "credit" and that performance in the same sentence. KJ took special care never to put himself in a place to get knocked out. He never pushed his stamina. He never committed to a punch other than a jab and a pitty pat straight.

That being said VK has ZERO versatility! Man he never once "took what KJ gave him". His body was there. Not like the man was throwing back.

I was disappointed in both men. More so in KJ. Why in the hell be a pro fighter if that is what you do on the grand stage? Talk about your mouth writing a check your ass can't cash. The dude didn't even have a bank account!

With that reach and leg length I am sure that is exactly what VK wants. A guy standing in front of him trying to land a big shot thinking his chin will see him through. And even if the chin holds, he would never unify. WK would not let it happen. Especially against that game plan.

That is if landing a big shot is the strategy.

Have you beaten any champions? Vitali's resume is light on elite fighters but he has knocked out champions. Sanders, Hide, Peter and Gomez are all champions. How many champions have you knocked out? Yes, Tua is a much harder hitter than Vitali in my estimation but does that disprove Vitali's strength somehow? Are you being intentionally dense? I mean why can't you just say he doesn't have a lot of steam on his punches anymore, by comparison to what they were? At least that would be sensible.

Klitschko is three inches taller than Lewis an against the very short Tua, this matters. Lewis has more versatility and skill, but Vitali is hader to hit. i don't think Mercer would have landed as much on Vitali as he did on Lewis. And Tua needs a lot more than one left hook to win the fight.

Tua against Cameron shows that Tua will always dominate that level of fighter, nothing more. A past - prime Tyson would have always looked impressive against that caliber of opponent, probably more impressive than Holyfield, which means little in a Tyson -Holyfield matchup.

Zero versatility got four shutout performances against 4 very different fighters in a row.
