Vitali is chinny, he was steadied by a Peter right at 1:30 of the 4th round and didn't fully recover until 5 whole seconds later. If he'd have been fighting the faster Haye then he'd have been KO'd by a flurry of punches.

Don't tell me he's never been KO'd in his career, he's been wobbled and thats enough for me to think he'll be KO'd by the smaller guy.:good

Me too. The Woods result flatered Tarver and Johnson made Dawson look bad but Dawson on points was the smart pick. I was less sure about Klits-Peter....

I think Haye would take the fight but i think he would lose badly.

 

Yeah, think Vitali could handle what Haye could hit him with, which makes him very dangerous for Haye.

Go for the chinnier Wlad (which is still a very hard fight for Haye).

 

Vitali is a ring craftsman and has a decent punch so would easily take Haye apart.

 

vitali did a good job on sam peter, but i think he would have a nightmare with haye because hes small and quick with much more skill than himself, he wont be able to dictate haye with his jab, "haye would do a roy jones on him".. he'll probably get outboxed from the outside then knocked out, i dont see him pressuring haye because hes very flat footed.. n walks like a penguin.. it you take away his reach advantage theres F*** all left.. hes an easy target for hayes bombs

If Haye had a good chin and a better defense, then he'd have a great chance. The guy was a chinny cruiser, how is he is going to survive against a very powerful and skillful heavy?

 

buncey was quite funny after the fight, almost belittling vitali's achievement by ripping into sam. the race between haye's and peter's fist was both amusing and embarassing (!)

he seemed to think that wlad would still be a tougher opponent for haye than vitali.

hopefully vitali will take the wba now, making it impossible to become a "world" heavyweight champion without beating one of the top two in the division.

as much as i like haye, right now i don't see him beating either klit. but hopefully he'll blow away barrett and make one of the fights
