skillfull heavy???? that aint skill.... its bullying, he uses his height and jab to keep little midgets like peter away, peter moves like a pensioner.. he makes it look easy for him..
Please do not belittle pensioners, I know 1 or 2 who would have given Vit a harder time than Peter managed last night.
Whilst he looks awkward, he has awesome timing and a good variety of punches. I dont think he is the best heavyweight ever, but he is a damn good one, especially considering where the division is now. If you think that Vitali does not possess great skill, then you do not know **** about boxing, and I am simply wasting my time even trying to argue with you.
However much dope you are smoking, cut back! Vitali just accomplished one of the top five comebacks in boxing history and you pick a guy with one heavyweight fight to beat him? For those who are logically impaired, let me explain: Vitali LOOKS slow because he is very tall and has long arms and legs. Watch a 747 and a small cessna during takeoff and guess which plane is faster. Optically, it will look like the cessna is faster, only because it is in relation to its own size. In reality, the 747 takes of more than twice as fast. Klitschko never had much trouble with seemingly faster fighters like Hide, Sanders, Donald. His relfexes are obviously still there, even if he got hit by Haye, he took murderpunches from Lewis without falling. His consistent, accurate punches with more power than anything Haye has ever been hit with would be the deciding factor in this fight.
off course hes got skills, but styles make fights.. some1 who vitali would knock out in a couple of seconds haye might have a 12 round war with hes tall but hes not like riddick bowe who can move like a featherweight, and force his size on anyone he fights, hes got a lot of disabilitys for his height his main objective would be to keep haye at distance with the jab then land that right hand and knock him out!! theres nothing else to it.. haye would be too atheltic for him, haye would beat him up
haye fights like roy jones, where he stands off and uses speed and reflexes.. john ruiz was meant to knock roy out
Sorry to go off topic but did any of you guys see Bowe ringside ? He looked seriously loopy, everyone else was sat doing nothing and he was waving Ukranian flags as if he was a 6 year old.
Vitali by KO. Vitali could take Lennox's uppercut and not fall so he will take Haye's reckless right hand.
Haye would prose a few different problems for vitali 1 being movement peter was just in front of him all night 2 Hand speed - haye is quick for a heavy 3 More importantly foot speed when he leans straight back u need to be able to clos the gab quickly so your in punching range. Peter never had a chance of this last night cause he just tried to strech all night BUT vitali has an iron chin, proven at the top level against power like LL's. Haye looks like he will carry his power but its not proven yet. Sanders had quick hands and he got smashed and Vitali is awkward as sin to fight plus he has damaging power. I think hayes movement would cause him issues but hed tag haye eventually Haye has a great chance of beating Wlad - who isnt a fighter good boxer but scared as hell of getting hit. And i think Wlad is decling his Jab isnt the ram rod that it was and he has stuggled with only decent fighters in his last 2 fights
I think what peter showed tonight, was how hard it can be for a fighter when your opponent is that much taller than you, and uses his height and reach to good effect. no doubt haye would be more game, but the fact is, vitalis chin is top notch, and he's also durable and can fight for 12 rounds. the combination of the good use of height advantage, good chin and good stamina, make this an unwinnable fight for haye imo.
Haye tried to demean Vitali as a fighter to suit his own agenda. He said Wladmir was the better of the two brothers - only because he wants the credit of beating the best Klisthko brother. He said Vitali was only know for a fight against Lennox Lewis which he lost. However even though the techincal result says he lost in 6 rounds - it is still the strongest form on offer to compete toe to toe with Lennox Lewis. Haye is a newbie to the heavyweight scene. Vitali has been there and done it. If Haye wants to really beat the number 1 fight Vitali Vitali has more steel in him the Wladimir Haye wont want a piece of this guy WBC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - Vitali Klitshko with that performance he has reclaimed his place as the man the NO 1 of the division
