    Are you ****ing kidding me?

He stopped possibly the most awkward fighter in the heavyweight division right now in the 9th round after a beatdown. What more do you crave? really?

He did his job, and he did it good.. give credit where credit is due.
    ****ing joke.

    Agree

Gomez was in to destroy the fight, and he had some success early. He may be unorthodox, but he wasnt effectiv. I havent seen a real textbook punch coming from Gomez, most times it was head first and do some pseudo punching. Vitali would beat him 100 out of 100. Gomez has nothing to offer to beat Vitali.
Vitali may have lost a step, but i think he will look much better against another opponent.

"Trading blows" ?? Peter barely lay a glove on Vitali that night, he was only receiving.

Sure, Peter has power and if you give him a stationary target that allows him free clean shots, he can Ko about anybody, but no credible fighter would let that happen. Peter is one of the guys who would never beat Vitali, his style and boxing technique (or rahter lack of) is perfect for Vitali, that's the kind of opponents he looks best against

    Wladimir said: He wants Haye!

If Haye did not want, he will choose another opponent for 20th of june, Povetkin, Arreola, Chambers.

Do you not pay attention? Povetkin is fighting in a couple weeks against Estrada.

Povetkin will fight Wlad in the later part of the year.

    You're welcome, cupcake.

How to you justify that post?

Wlad is trying to work a contract with Haye for almost 3 months now (I think Haye will sign). At some point, Wlad has to move on or he will end up with NO fights at all in 09'.

I dont think Wlad or Haye are ducking eachother at all. Wlad is offering "A". Haye wants "C" and they are trying to settle on "B". It might work, it might not, but this DUCKING **** is a joke:nut

    :good:good
total domination from Vitali, 4 knock downs, won every round (maybe Gomez gets round 1)

Yet Vitali gets ripped for his performance. Have we seen a better Vitali? ...YES IMO, but he still dominated a guy that MANY people on this board picked to win

Wow. These two "champions" ought to wear panties under their boxing trunks, which should from now on be pink, with lace. Victoria's Secret ought to sponsor them. David Haye and Oleg should be the next two mandatories for these laughable excuses for champions.

I don't think either wants to duck Haye. Its obvious Vitali wans Valuev so the two brothers can hold all of the belts, and if I read it correctly supposedly Wlad did say "he hoped it would be Haye".

    Peter would give Vitaly problems,eh!:D

You may have missed it,but a couple of months Vitaly beat the living **** out of Peter for as long as their fight lasted.
It was an extremely one-sided beating where Peter got the short end of the stick.

Gomez showed a far better performance against Vitaly as did Peter against the same opponent.
