Hi all i thought i would ask you guys, Do you know any good links or info to find out what herbs or vitamins are good for you and their purpose? Or even what you guys taek I just wanna find out more about it. Cheers
All vitamins are good for you that's why they are called vitamins, you should get as many as you can from their preferred sources: fruits and vegetables. Don't forget fat soluble vitamins in for example eggs, dairy, etc. Herbs contain an insanely wide scale of phytochemicals so it's impossible to say anything about it. The human body has evolved into an efficient parasite when it comes to chemicals like anti-oxidants or anti-inflammants for example, substances found in many plants. You could take a good multi-vitamin but it won't be as good as what you get from natural sources.
There are possible benefits and possible negatives from over the counter vitamins. I take a multivitamin if I am on a calorie deficit diet. If I have a cold I take Vit C. Taking 30 or so when the recommended dosage is 1 is what gets people into trouble. Paracetamol is available over the counter. Try taking 30 of them a day. They are not magic, just supplements.
Ok cool, just takeas much natural food as i can than. Just wasnt sure about different or better benefits from specific types of foods. Cheers for the response
