Vito Antuofermo v Mustafa Hamsho

Thanks to the two who liked story. Vito was in the Sopranos for a couple of episodes also. It was season with David Proval in it, Vito was in scene sealing with Pakistani they had garbage dispute with. No violence in sceane, it's when they are laughng at guy on phone after dumping garbage at his place.

 

I'd like to see Joe Pesci try to take on Vito, with or without a pen!

 

I think Vito gets on the inside and outworks Hamsho for a close dec'. Both guys were tough and took a good shot so I don't see a ko, thou it might be stopped on cuts. I don't see Hamsho using his height or a stiff jab in order to keep Vito off him.

 

Vito just edges Mustafa over the distance, 15 rounds.

 

Vito did beat the better competition, was a vastly underrated defensive fighter, and not somebody who Hamsho could wear down and cause to gas. He prevailed over a formidable array of opponents. Mustafa's usual key advantage in physical strength may not prevail here.

 

Vito was champion and I always thought the better fighter. He went 15 with Marvin and both times Hamsho did not. I pick Vito by decision in a tough fight.
