What a brawl this one would be,eh ? Not much to split them but I think Vito was a bit faster. So he wins a very tight decision. Probably split.
Only one that really dominated Gene Fullmer in a long fight was **** Tiger.....and that was at the end of Gene's career. We know the fight will be "rough"...with cuts and butts. Fullmer by decision.
Fullmer was a league and a half over Vito....fought and beat better guys, was stronger even than Vito....and was a much better champion.
