I see this going two ways either Jackson beats him on cuts or Vito wins on points. I'm siding with Vito here because of his iron chin and the fact Jackson wasn't as good at 160. Thoughts?

Like us say, it's hard to say. Jackson could cut Vito fast and win by early stoppage, but Jackson's a one-punch knockout artist mostly, and with Vito, I don't see him finishing him with one blow. Either one could go in 5 rounds.

This could go a very similar way to Antuofermo - Cyclone Hart

Great fight that. Hart used up to much energy early on and got tired.

I can't see Jackson punching himself out as much as Hart though.

If Jackson punches himself out Vito would be in a coma.

Jackson is much more skilled offensively than given credit for I think he has a good chance of stopping Vito

Kind of an insult to Julian - he was miles better than Cyclone Hart.

I think Jackson destroys Vito, in all honesty.

Many tried. The big bangers like Hagler, Briscoe and Hart did and only Hagler got a stoppage on cuts in 2 tries. I'm not trying to insult Jackson, I just think Vito could take him.

Hagler wasn't a big banger. He was a sharpshooter - a heavy handed sharpshooter, but not a devastating puncher.

Brsicoe (who was robbed blind against Vito, I might add) was a big puncher, but more of a thudding puncher.

Jackson had snapping, devastating power, and he hit with far more velocity than Briscoe.

We could debate about the style of puncher each are, but the fact remains Hagler stopped 52 out of his 62 wins, Briscoe stopped 53 out of his 66 wins and Hart stopped 28 out of his 30 wins. These guys were not shrinking violets and suggesting they weren't in Jackson's league is silly. And Vito handled everything they had. I also disagree with Briscoe being robbed against Vito. I had the fight 5-4-1 for Vito. It was a good close fight.

Vito. Way too tough and he backs up
    Jackson from the opening bell.

This isn't ron Collins. Or dennis milton or Cardamone or some of the other
    dkp setups.

Hey, I was at the Jackson-Cardamone fight. That knockout was amazing. The sound of the knockout punch literally echoed in the Worcester auditorium. Jackson had outerworldly power. Even at that late stage of his career, when he really should have been finished as a championship level fighter.

Have you ever met him in person Bert? He seems like a gent in interviews.

Just jumping in here, but I met him at a hall of fame about 10 years ago. He is a really good guy. Very accommodating to fans.
